Villa with pool just 2 km from the beach of Giardini Naxos, Taormina's adjacent coastal town with several bars and restaurants by the water. From the terrace of and pool you have a breathtaking view on the whole east coast of Sicily including Mount Etna, the sea, small craters on the lower part of the volcano and the castle of Calatabiano - hosting a quality restaurant reachable by cable car.
The villa is located in a residential villa area and was built in 2003 and features quality furnishing, central heating, marble stairs, and many terraces and balconies. All rooms have air-conditioning, TV and wireless internet. Furthermore there is private parking, a big barbecue (electric and charcoal), fridge with ice maker and a dishwasher.

We have been with Homeaway since 2006, proposing houses that are able to unfold Sicily's colours and charm at best.
Houses with quality furnishing in unique locations, with incredible views or with a pool, always accurately selected in order to satisfy our main wish: to see you falling in love with Sicily just like we did.
We provide you with transparent information and true pictures. What you see is exactly what you get. We will advise you as much as we can about travel info, transfers and car rental.
Dinners in villas and other extra services can also be arranged. Finally, our prices are final rates! There are no hidden additional costs. We are flexible with your arrivals and departures and if you need a late check-in this is usually possible.
This is a spacious villa that is suitable for families and group stays. We were a small family group so we did not use many of the bedrooms but we felt that if there were several families it would not have been a problem as there was plenty of space inside and outside.
The villa has fantastic views towards Mount Etna and a lovely terrace by the pool to sit and watch the clouds roll across the volcano - we found this very relaxing. The pool area is also wonderful and great for adults and children.
The kitchen is wonderful and the best equipped kitchen I have ever come across in a holiday rental. It is really well laid out and a joy to cook in. There is also a charcoal and a gas barbecue outside - whatever you prefer to use!
My only criticism of the property would be that the bathrooms were good quality but there were a few niggles. It was sometimes difficult to get toilets to flush and shower temperatures were not consistent when the water was running. This could have been to do with the local water pressure rather than any fault of the owners though.
The location is also very good. The villa is set in a large private garden with views across the countryside but is just a few minutes walk from the main street in Trappitello where there are food shops, cafes, a pharmacy etc. You can buy pretty much anything you need there. We had a car but there is a bus stop very close and I think it would be possible to get around the region fairly easily by bus from the villa so long as you didn't want to stay out late.
I would definitely recommend this villa and we would be happy to return.
This is a beautiful property, maybe in need of a little TLC, however, the views you woke up to in the mornings were die for. We were two families totalling 11, there was plenty of room for all of us, the villa was lovely and had ample outside space for the adults and kids too okay and relax. On our first evening one of the outside tables broke, it has been glued together at the base, the owners were fine snd couldn't apologies enough when we told them what had happened. As I said previously, it's a beautiful property that just needs a little maintenance, outside and inside to make this s 5* property! A big Thank you to Giavanni and Simone his Daughter, who was very helpful in our first few days, Giavanni was on hand for help with Taxi and pool cleaning. What a lovely Man, we would definitely come back to this property, very handy location for Etna and Giardini Naxos xx
The photos don't do this villa justice! It is really big, 7 of us didn't manage to fill it. It is very well equipped, the owners are friendly and very helpful and the pool is lovely.
Lovely clean villa, amazing view of Mount Etna (pictures do not do it justice), sun trap in the courtyard. Luca and Lydia very nice and helpful., Luca even showed us around the local village and offered to take us shopping because we didn't have a car. We would definitely stay there again but be warned the villa has four floors and as they said a car is essential but we managed to see the whole of the east coast without one. No doubt about it 5 * all the way.
We spent a wonderful week at Villa Vincenzo Bellini at October half term. The villa is clean, spacious and the outside areas are lovely. The real winner is the stunning view of mount Etna which we saw at all different times of day and with a range of cloud formations.
The big advantages of the villa is the self contained feel of the rooms and bathrooms. We were two families travelling together and yet everyone has their own space and privacy which is lovely. We put the teenagers on the top floor where they had their own spacious suite (and bathroom!) which they enjoyed.
Giovanni, the owner, is a real legend. His English is impeccable and he comes round every day (not intrusive) to check things are ok. HIs daughter works for a tourist information office and, through her, we booked an excellent tour up Etna with wine tasting! Giovanni also gave us good advice about restaurants, local travel and directions.
Our friends and us would thoroughly recommend this part of Sicily and this villa particularly to you. So much to do if you want - visiting Giardini Naxos and Taormina as well as the mountain - or quiet days around the pool just enjoying the lovely Sicilian sunshine and the fantastic views.
The beaches of Recanati and Giardini Naxos distance less than 2 km from the villa and have a charming promenade and a good range of Lidi (beach clubs offering facilities ranging from restaurants and bars to loungers, umbrellas and water sports).
Taormina is a at 10 minutes drive and Catania and Syracuse are perfect for a day trip.
Perched on a rocky promontory high above the sea, Taormina has been the most popular tourist destination in Sicily for a couple of hundred of years. Beautifully restored medieval buildings, breathtaking views around every corner and a giddy network of winding streets strewn with shops, bars and restaurants make for a perfect holiday spot. Taormina is served by its very own cable car which ferries tourists to and from the seaside resorts down along the coast. Extensive beaches, rocky coves, tiny islands (such as the famous Isola Bella) and sea stacks abound, making this enchanting coastline a firm favourite with Sicilians and visitors alike.
