A Georgeous 3 Bedroom Property with Private pool & Pergola area with Garden

Casa Loro is a Luxurious extremely well equipped house & is frequently refurbished to maintain its standard. 20000 Euroswas speent in the 2015 refub!!

There are 2 large double bedrooms the third is smaller.

The master bedroom & the lounge have double doors opening onto the covered expansive Pergola.

The roof terrace is large with extensive views over the seafront of Corralejo & the Island of Lobos.

The pool is heated & is particularly suitable for children as it is a constant 4ft deep.

There is a large car parking area within the grounds.

The bathrooms are both spacious with, both have a toilet & shower plus wash basins.

The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, a washing machine a microwave a cooker & a new fridge/freezer (2017).

Ther are many small electrical appliances including hairdryer, kettle, fans etc.

There is a new TV 2016 & we have changed to a computerised Wifi &TV system.

The swimming pool was refurbished this year.

We have lived extremely happily on the Island for 12 years and have no plans to move whatsoever!

We used to have a house in Orlando, Florida but sold it when we moved to Fuerteventura because of ease of visiting for our families.

We used this sale to purchase Casa Loro initially for the benefit of family & friend but then we started renting shortly after.

We are both retired now after wonderful working lives, both of us in the caring services.

Why Cheri & John Mullin chose La Oliva

Casa Loro is quiet but in the centre of everything.

It is a spacious villa with a large outside area, mainly the Pergola & Pool rather than a garden area.

It is well equipped & we refurbish some part of it each year.

There is a large parking space within the property & usually parking on the road outside our gate.

What makes this villa unique

The location is superb.

The pool is of a good size but 4ft deep throughout.

The Pergola area is great for relaxing in the sun/shade & for Al Fresco dining.

The shops & restarants are close by as is the main Shopping Street of the town.

The Campanario Centre frequently has live Spanish music & a market every Sunday.

There is a large supermarket here with normal prices.

The Water Park is within walking distance.

The popular seaside village of El Cotillo is 12 miles away which has lagoon & surfing beaches and many restaurants.

Corralejo has many good restaurants there are many Chinese Slow Boat is our favourite. Two Indian restaurants are 500 yards away. We like Boarders in the Campanario Centre at the nearest corner to Calle Clavellina. Wikiki on the beach always has served us good food. Rompeolas is fantastic.

The Harbour area has good food, try the fish & Canarian potato café next to Fazz Curry house.

There are ferries to Lobos & Lanzarote.

Lovely relaxing stay

The villa is very spacious, comfortable and it was so quiet! The patio had gorgeous sun from morning until just after 5ish (when it was out of course!). TV movies/programmes and WIFI worked well. The pool was lovely and the heating system meant that the water was warm even in February :)

We love the area near El Campanario anyway and the villa's location right near to the beach too, was a bonus.

Both John (the owner) and Stuart were thoughtful and informative.

We highly recommend this villa and enjoyed a wonderful week.

Excellent loction away from the noisy centre of Corralejo,with ideal facilities for two.

The space and facilities were very good, with a lovely sized pool, very close to the local shopping centre, which was very good for cafes and some shopping.A lengthy walk required to reach the town centre, but well worth it, this was our fourth time in Corralejo in the past couple of years and this was the best property yet.

Great Villa

Great villa in a excellent location with everything you need close at hand.

The villa was very clean , slight problem with internet speed which the host rectified extremely quickly given it was the Christmas period. Pool and garden areas well maintained really could not ask for more a real home from home.

Overall from booking process through to holiday the host could not be more helpful.

Most recommended and plan to return.

Frequent Visitor - Fab Villa

Stayed at Casa Loro on several occasions when visiting Corralejo and will book again. Firstly the owners couldn’t have been more helpful, both during the booking process and throughout our stay. Casa Loro is situated in a perfect location for a quiet family holiday - 5 mins walk from the Campanario shopping centre - large supermarket, several restaurants catering for all tastes and a the wine bar i3 Calici, where you’ll receive a great welcome. Also several places to grab a morning coffee whilst you plan the day ahead. It is 5 mins walk from the beach, and 10 mins from the main shopping area of Corralejo. Location is ideal as it is close enough to local amenities to make them readily accessible, but just the right distance away so that you are guaranteed peace and quiet. The actual location is on a side street that is never busy. We hire a car when we visit, but the location does not make this a necessity. It is two minutes walk from the newly built bus terminal - buses available to the capital and many of the island’s attractions.

The property itself is always very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen should you wish to cook and also has a dishwasher and washing machine. The dining room includes a TV (many English channels) - have to say we rarely used it as it is just nice to get away from things at home. Casa Loro has two well sized bedrooms with plenty of storage and also a single room. The property has 2 bathrooms with shower / bath facilities - no waiting for the shower in a morning. To the front is a pool which is perfect when the weather gets hot. This is also a lovely place to sit on an evening in the late sun with a chilled beer and a glass of prosecco. To the rear is a large patio area which permits sunbathing all day long. There is a shaded area with table / chairs where you can enjoy meals, and also get some respite from the sun when things get a too hot. Casa Loro offers a roof terrace with fantastic views of Corralejo, stretching out as far as Lanzarote.

Wifi is available – perfect for those that need to update facebook, tweet photos or use face time – quite adequate to cater for those tasks - don’t expect Superfast B/band - after all this is Fuerteventura.

In summary we love the Island and this villa too! Recommended to several colleagues, who have also enjoyed fantastic holidays at Casa Loro. You won’t be disappointed. It’s location and facilities make this the ideal choice for couples or families looking to holiday on the island.

A Great Stay!

I stayed in the property in August 2016. On arrival there was a generous welcome basket which was great to see after a long days travel!

The pool was very warm - above 30 degrees every day - which was refreshingly nice to jump in to cool off in the sun.

Corralejo itself was great, plenty of shops to look through and all the bars to grab a quick sandwich in the day, then get a great cocktail at night.

I'd definitely be back again, thanks for the great stay!

Good, but room to improve.

As the advert says, the location is very good & without doubt it is the propertys USP. The main street of Correlejo is a 10 minute stroll away, beach less than 5 mins walk, supermarket 2 min walk. There are however downsides to this, it's close to 2 busy roads and the plot it's on is quite compact compared to villas a bit further away from the centre of town.

We holiday in Corralejo every winter & have stayed in numerous villas in the area, giving us a very good idea of how Casa Loro compares to its direct competitors:

Plus Points:

Attentive owners during booking process. It's clear nothing is too much trouble for them.


Welcome pack - bread, milk, tea, coffee, wine etc. Unexpected & much appreciated!

Cleaning products provided (you would be amazed how often they aren't).

UK TV Channels & USB socket in TV.

Above average quality & comfort of furniture.

Sun terrace on the roof offers great views of Corralejo harbour, Lobos & Lanzarote.

The rear courtyard gets fantastically hot during daylight hours.

Ceiling fans in the 2 large bedrooms make it a very comfortable villa to sleep in.

Water pressure - the best showers we've had on the island are here.

Minus Points:

The pool heater wasn't working - disappointing as we chose to pay extra for a villa that offers the facility.

The bbq facilities were below average - a small, cheap, rusty, flimsy item instead of the stone built ones other rental villas offer. A little bit embarrassing really - better not to offer one at all.

There is no safe. Every self catering property we've used has provided one, so it was a surprise & led to us taking our passports & high value items everywhere with us.

The backup Vodafone wifi, while the effort the owners made to provide this was appreciated, it was too slow & unreliable for even the most basic internet demands. We ended up giving up & just using the free Wifi at the restaurants and bars while out & about. Hopefully they can get the landline service up & running again soon for future visitors.


About average for accommodation facilities that can easily become above average with a little TLC. I've given an extra star thanks to the excellent owner communication, unexpected welcome pack & cleaning equipment.

Would definitely consider holidaying at Casa Loro again.

Casa Loro is ideally located, close to the beach yet in a quieter part of Corralejo but only 10 minutes walk from the main Shopping Street.

The Campanario Centre is 200 m away with shops, restaurants, a Supermarket & also a Sunday Market as well as Live Spanish Music most days. There are no rowdy "football" bars.

The Water Park is within easy walking distance.

The magnificant Dunes & Flag beaches are a mile down the Ave. Grandes Playas, the street which is 20 m from Casa Loro .

The nearest entrance to the town beach is hundred metres away. This beach goes into the centre of Correlajo.

The nearest full-size golf course is near to the airport.

The central street in Correlajo has many shops and cafes. And several of the Chinese restaurants do evening buffets.

At the far end of the street where the Campanario centre is there is quite a large market on the main street at least once a week.

The supermarket in the Campanario centre has been significantly extended some two years ago. The prices there are very competitive.

The waterpark is said to be good but busy in the summer months.

Casa Loro is available from 4pm & guests must leave before 10.30 am on the day of departure.
If you wish to leave late or come early we may be able to arrange this but we would charge 50 pounds for early arrival or late departure.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
