Why Barbara Rever chose Paicines
We enjoy all that country life has to offer; our various domestic animals including horses, cows, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, peafowl, cats, and 2 busy ranch dogs, as well as breathtaking views, wildlife sightings, native plants and the ability to do as much or as little as desired. We have tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, a two story bunkhouse that also houses a pool table, air hockey, large screen TV with a vast collection of DVDs. We offer numerous comfortably charming guest cottages/houses, Several years ago we planted over 1250 Mission organic olive trees which produce our award winning extra virgin olive oil. We have traveled all over the world and love meeting new people from all cultures. Come and experience our beautiful getaway in Paicines, California.
What makes this House unique
Our property offers the tranquil rural ambiance that so many desire, and all the creature comforts as well. Since we are located only 10 minutes from Pinnacles National Park, many guests hike during the day, but want to return to a comfortable cottage, enjoy a warm shower, a fully stocked kitchen, sleep in a comfortable bed, yet still be immersed in the great outdoors and all it has to offer.

Very enjoyable ranch. We all had a great time. Shelley the manager is helpful and friendly.
Cute little house
Exactly how posted, so serene. Away from the world.
If you are interested in visiting the Pinnacles National Park, this was the place to stay. Not only was it convenient, but it was quiet, safe, and relaxing. We did not meet the owners, but the property manager Shelley was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The small towns in the area were fun to visit, or you could just hang out on the ranch. The house was a perfect size for the four of us, and the view was amazing. Would highly recommend.
Short get away
Great place to unwind. Quiet!! Would love to come back and stay longer.
Did not want to leave!
Every spring we take our granddaughters on a mini trip. We all agree that this is the best one ever! The location is beautiful and close to Pinnacles, but no one wanted to leave all the friendly animals and all the things to do; hiking, tennis, ping pong, playground, a bunkhouse full of fun and games, and oh yes did I mention the animals, especially Scarlet! The house was wonderful with every amenity and Shelley and Barbara were so gracious and accommodating. It was a very memorable trip. Thank you Shelley and Barbara!
Our stay at tumbleweed hotel was great! The whole ranch was so cute and had everything we needed.
We had a great stay over the weekend. The house had everything we needed to cook a phenomenal meal and enjoy the scenery around us. The lawn chairs and hammocks overlooking the rolling hills was so relaxing! It was also super close to Pinnacles National Park which was great for day hiking.
Lots of things to do in our area; Monterey Bay Aquarium, Gilroy Garlic Festival, Pinnacles National Park, San Benito Olive Festival, Salinas Rodeo, Santa Cruz Boardwalk, Wineries and more!
