Amazing pet friendly cabin!
This cute cabin in the woods along the Little Deschutes river is like a home away from home. It has everything you need to be comfortable and spend time with your family. We played games, went for walks, cooked good dinner and slept very well. We will be back soon!
The cabin is beautiful and wonderfully located where it feels you are alone, but only five minutes from La Pine for your basic amentities! The Shop Smart grocery store has everything you could need for meals, Mt Bachelor took us about 45 minutes to drive to, while Deschutes Brewery in Bend took only 35 minutes, and we snowshoed in La Pine State Park to Paulina Falls within only 20 minutes. Lauren was fantastic to book through and answered all questions promptly, the booking and check in process were flawless. I would highly recommend this cabin and would love to come back in the summer to really enjoy the full deck!
The "cabin" was easy to locate and fun to habitate. Amenities were as promised and the kitchen had all you needed to make your meals...who wants to go out when you have a forest and a river all to yourself!
If you want a gorgeous cabin with every amenity in a relaxing and awe inspiring setting this is the one. We loved every minute! Thank you!
Clean, cozy and relaxing.
Wonderful home with everything one needs to unwind and relax.
My boyfriend, myself, and our dog spent 4 days at the cabin in early January and it was truly an exceptional experience. The cabin was a beautiful A Frame with giant windows, multiple decks and modern amenities. It was also thoughtfully outfitted with all that you might need (fully stocked kitchen, extra bedding, movies and games, etc) and the location is great. It sits at the end of a quiet road road on an awesome piece of property that is surrounding by pines and along a nice little stream. If you need anything, it’s a quick drive to the Shop Smart or anything else in La Pine (several restaurants, a bar, gas, etc).
As far as things to do during your stay... When we weren’t relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying ourselves at the cabin, we went to the High Desert Museum (~30 minute drive) which was even cooler than I was expecting, and also highly recommend going to Benham Falls. That’s also about 30 minutes North and you can either park right at the Falls or do a short and easy 1.5 mile paved walk to see the Falls.
Lauren was very quick to respond to any correspondence and I really appreciate that, instead of a steep cleaning fee, they simply ask that you clean up a bit before you leave (just the basics like stripping sheets and filling the dishwasher etc.)
Awesome property, convenient location and a thoughtful host! 5 stars indeed!
