Welcome to LaPine’s Riviera des Chutes cabin in the woods. This 1400 + square foot retreat with 500 feet of decks is the perfect year-around get-away. Located on the Little Deschutes River, it features all wood interior with huge cathedral windows opening to the wooded meadow, barbeque deck and hot tub.
Privacy is the operative word here. Relax, enjoy and bask in the quiet of this beautiful Central Oregon A-Frame. Climate is dry, with snow in the winter and lots of blue sky all summer long. Year around temperature at night is cool even in the hottest summer days.
Mt. Bachelor, Oregon’s premier ski area is within an hours drive, and the Deschutes National forest offers wonderful outdoor activities, including golf, fishing, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing and rafting. The area is dotted with lakes and surrounded by geological points of interest, including Fort Rock and Newberry Crater, one of the most recent volcanoes within the contiguous United States, featuring cinder cones, twisted lava, and year-around ice caves. The nearby Big Deschutes is considered one of the nation’s best fishing and recreation rivers.
Great little cabin with a lovely view. Super clean and well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. We had a great time and look forward to coming back!
Our stay was great they cabin was equipped with everything. And the A frame was perfect for the view to the back senery. The jacuzzi was great for the cold nights. Will definitely be back!
Repeat customers--love the big deck with hot tub and woods and Little Deschutes in the back. Well-supplied kitchen, spacious living room area. Bedrooms cute, a little small, same with the 2 bathrooms. Dog friendly! 🐶
This is literally the best cabin I've ever stayed in. The property is tranquil and feels very secluded, and the cabin itself has all the amenities and features to proved an all inclusive, peaceful retreat. From coffee on the porch in the morning to an after-dinner (prepared in a well stocked kitchen) twilight hot tub, every moment spent at this modern and gorgeous cabin was close to perfection. I loved snowshoeing out to the riverside and watching the almost-frozen water rush by, and my dog loved rolling around in the fresh snow on the enclosed back porch before coming in to a warm and inviting home. La Pine is a quick drive away, which has anything you need to stock up on for cooking. But I suggest stocking up before you get to the cabin because once you're here, you'll never want to leave!
We loved this cabin! It was very clean and well maintained with comfortable furniture and beds. The beautiful wood everywhere you look makes it so cozy! We were so happy that it was pet friendly, so we could bring our little terrier. Gorgeous peaceful setting with a river out back and close to sno-parks (we really enjoyed snowshoeing!). We will definitely return!
This cabin is very cute with all natural wood inside and out. There is a large two level deck that makes it feel like a treehouse... a treehouse with a hot tub nonetheless. You can see the steam through the trees but not any neighbors. It's very quite at night, the perfect retreat from the city.
