mood takes you. For those who wish to explore the local area, a lovely

sandy beach as well as a choice of restaurants can be reached within a

their holidays without the fuss of a car. Located next door to its twin

sister Villa Anabel, this is a popular option for two families

holidaying together.

NB: A car is recommended in low season as some local amenities are

Pleasant, spacious and comfortable

This was our 2nd time in Port De Pollenca and our first holiday in a villa. Overall it was tidy, fairly clean and very spacious.

The bedrooms were very nice with good A/C. The main downstairs bathroom was a bit shabby and could do with updating but it was perfectly functional and the shower was excellent.

The small downstairs shower room was a bit icky, the tray wasn't clean when we got there and the curtain was hanging off. It's a tiny cubicle and we decided not to bother using it at all during our stay as no-one really likes a grimy shower curtain sticking to their back while showering.

The kitchen was ok, a bit dark and dingy but fit for purpose with everything you'd need. Decent hob and a good oven too.

Utility contained a washing machine that leaked like mad and made clothes smell strange but it was good enough for washing swim wear etc although definitely should be replaced.

The patio areas were very nice and the swimming pool was lovely to cool off in. Plenty of room outside for 8 guests.

Close proximity to supermarket and central town, however if you walk, take a torch because the long road to the villa is pitch black and filled with pot holes - my ankle is still bruised after a stumble!

The neighbours all have dogs and we found that the barking sometimes disturbed the peace and quiet. Also, next door has a whole range of poultry, including cockerels, which are certainly early risers....!

I would definitely recommend this villa but dont expect luxury inside, it's basic and functional and in need of restoration.

Comfortable villa with a great location

Overall we had a great holiday and enjoyed our stay at Can Pageset. Tis was our second stay in Puerto Pollensa which is a lovely resort, perfect for families with a wide range of high quality restaurants and bars.

The location of the villa is excellent, 5-10 min walk to the supermarket (or 2 min dirve) and 10-15 min walk to the bars/restaurants/beach.

The pool and outdoor patio area were large and comfortable, plenty of space for 8 to lounge or sit and eat.

The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective.

We had maid service 3 times during our two week stay with clean sheets and towels each time. They gave the bathrooms a quick clean too.

We did have a number of issues during the first few days of our stay regarding the bathrooms (no hot water, no shower curtain in the shower room, one useless shower head, a leak in one of the bathrooms, the fridge stopped working, the washing machine leaked). Hence using the description of 'recently refurbished' in this property is completely inappropriate. The issues did get resolved eventually but it took quite a bit of our time over the first few days and we are awaiting a response from the agent regarding our complaint. But once the problems were sorted we enjoyed our stay at the villa and would probably go back. (A small note for anyone staying is that the washing machine was ok for rinsing things through but didn't touch any holiday dirt - should be replaced really)
