Characteristic flat in enviable location
This nice apartment is located in a quiet and picturesque road in the heart of Trastevere. You will enjoy a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere and with a short walk reach the many amenities of Trastevere, with its many bars, restaurants and shops. Campo de Fiori is moments away, opposite Ponte Sisto. The apartment is set in a ancient building (first floor with no elevator) and has many period features such as the panelled ceiling and the fireplace. The large living area with dining space and sofa bed for two is bright and airy: the two windows overlook the botanical garden. There is also a compact and smart kitchen, bathroom with shower and a double bedroom overlooking the Gianicolo hill. The warm and cozy setting of this accommodation will make you feel like home.

A long walk to everywhere
Certainly spacious, but sadly it was a bit too far from the centre for us - 5 minutes down via San Francesco di Sales (cobbled, therefore difficult to negotiate with wheeled luggage), 5 minutes along the river, 5 minutes over Ponte Sisto - so 15 minutes even to get to Campo dei Fiori. And the area is poorly served by buses: there are a couple along the Tiber to Trastevere proper, but you have to cross the river to get a bus into the centre.
Like all the Italian flats and hotel rooms we seem to stay in, it was very dark: one brightish light by the table, but otherwise very gloomy. Reading for any length of time was almost impossible.
Not fully equipped - no plug in the kitchen sink, no washing-up brush or bowl (we had to buy one).
It would have been useful to have had a guide to the area, with a list of local shops along via della Lungara, some advice about buses and so on. We couldn't find any way of recycling bottles and paper.
Raffaele was helpful, especially in getting us a taxi at the end of our stay, but it was very expensive, possibly because the driver thought we were going to the airport rather than Termini.
Top notch accommodation!
Happy customer, great stay!
Very responsive to requests for fixes to problems
Good location, unless you want to be in "the thick of things".
The Corsini garden is close and that is a great place to visit, all those perruches were a charming addition to the location.
The gas range worked well for using the Bialetti; no problems using matches instead of piezo.
Emanuela was a great help in getting things fixed.
Tranquility in vibrant area of central Roma
Quaint and quirky flat in nearby travestere area. We were woken up by chirping birds. There were three of us staying in the flat and the bedding and sofa bed were very comfortable although the bathroom could do with a little updating. We didn't use the kitchen as we ate out at the local restaurants. We were greeted by Romina who was very helpful. I would recommend this flat if you prefer charm over amenities.
Tranquility in vibrant area of central Roma
Quaint and quirky flat in nearby travestere quarter. Woken up by chirping birds. Loved the wooden beams. We were three in the flat, the bedding and sofa bed were very comfortable. Bathroom could do with a little updating. We did not use the kitchen as we were out very often in the nearby restaurants. We were greeted by Romina who was very helpful. I would recommend this flat if you prefer charm over amenities.
Lovely aprtment in Trastevere
Loved this apartment located between the lively Trastevere restaurant district and the Vatican.
While Rome seduces with its extraordinary monuments, Trastevere captures the traveler's heart. It is the most authentic and characteristic District within the Historic Center, the perfect place to glimpse the old world while enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. Often described as Bohemian, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to the old, narrow, winding, cobblestone streets. Homes decorated with flower boxes and clinging ivy interlace with coffee bars, restaurants, and one-of-a-kind boutiques. The apartment is located in a very tranquil street, in front of the botanical garden and a few steps away from Piazza Trilussa and Campo de Fiori. Thanks to its strategic location, you can reach within walking distance many astonishing places such as Santa Maria in Trastevere, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Imperial Forum, the Coliseum and Spanish Steps. Following the river Tiber for 10 minutes you may reach the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Passing through this magical place, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step.
