About Kent Metzger
We grew up within 40 miles of the property and currently live about 25 minutes away. I am a licensed Professional Engineer and the Facilities Engineer for an area school district. My wife is a teacher and is currently an attendance specialist for area schools. My son and I enjoy this property for hunting and just hanging out.
Kent Metzger purchased this Cabin in 2008
Why Kent Metzger chose Strasburg
We purchased these property for hunting and enjoying the outdoors. Since the property included a house, it was perfect for family and friends to get together and stay overnight for hunting trips and get-togethers. The property is very secluded and private. It is located at the end of a dead end road. The neighbors cannot see the house from their homes but they are close enough to give you a sense of security knowing that someone is near in the event of an emergency.
What makes this Cabin unique
You can see all types of wildlife (whitetail deer, turkeys, coyotes, birds, squirrels and maybe even a bobcat) from the house or while walking the many hiking trails. The property is very secluded and private. Some adventurous folks may want to swim in the secluded swimming holes in the property's large creek.

This would be a great place for hunters or Fishers to go to. However it was also very comfortable for our family to visit. My kids enjoyed the creek that was just down the hill. But it was also set up very nice to just sit back, relax, and watch TV. Could have done without the poster of the woman toting the gun in the dining room for my teenage boys. However it was a great place to stay
