We are a family of four and fell in love with Kezar Lake almost 20 years ago, we have many fond memories from our vacations here. We also enjoy sharing our vacation home with friends and renters, and grateful to have provided the location for so many great vacation. Numerous of our renters come back year after year.
Theresa purchased this cabin in 1998
Dock, Level Lot, Sun, Porches, Beach, Blueberries on property in July Local Pick your own Berries in the summer and Apples and Cranberries nearby in the fall. Love the peacefulness of the dock and screen porches.
Near beach but also feel like you are remotely located. It has it's own private dock. We like the bedroom set up with master bedroom separate from other bedrooms and is closest to the lake. Watching the loons on the lake from the dock.
We had a great time, loved fishing in the lake and the beach and lots of fun on the water in the rowboat and canoe. We like taking a walk up to the store in the morning for the paper and coffee and some good exercise. We enjoyed hiking and shopping in North Conway and Golf right here in Center Lovell. The cottage was a great set up for our extended family and everything was very comfortable. I can't wait to go back.
We had a wonderful time at Loon Lodge. The location is spectacular and whilst the house is basic it has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. We all loved the boats, the pontoon, the fire pit and the nearby beach. There was something for everyone and we'd love to come back!
We were fortunate to spend 4 days at Loon Lodge just prior to Labor Day. It was even better than the description and pictures indicated it would be. Clean, spacious and a full size kitchen with 2 wonderful screened porches; large yard for grandson to play in; great views of the lake from several rooms in the cottage; its own private dock that we were able to swim from; and access to additional public and private beaches adjacent to the property. The area itself is beautiful in August and the Loon Lodge property is a special place to enjoy peace and quiet while also having plenty of things for young and old to enjoy. We went swimming, fishing, tubing and played some golf at Kezar Country Club. Rented a I/O boat from Kezar Lake Marina (be sure to reserve well in advance). Theresa was friendly and easy to work with and responded quickly and politely to our questions. Highly recommend a stay at Loon Lodge!
Loon Lodge is a sweet and comfortable cottage on gorgeous Lake Kezar. We stayed here for a wedding in the area. It was the perfect location with access to a private dock and the beach just steps away. The house is great for families. We were there with our 1yo and other friends. The layout is great for letting a little one sleep with minimal interruption. I couldn't help but think about planning a future trip with the whole family when we could stay for longer. We didn't get to take advantage of all of the wonderful details nearly as much as I would like...Next time!
Loon Lodge is a lovely lake side home with ample space for a family to enjoy each others company and the beautiful Lake Kezar. The home was perfect for our family of 4, but could easily fit 8-10 people, bonus that there are two full baths and lots of outside spaces. There are two screened porches, plus a fire pit and private dock to spend time at. The canoe was a favorite for my youngest, and the beach my oldest's. The public beach, which is at the end of the driveway, is lovely, has plenty of kids during the day and is peaceful in the evening. Lake Kezar was pretty peaceful, busier on the weekend with motor boats and jet ski's, but quieter and relaxing during the week. The loons are wonderful to listen to in the evening and the stars are amazing from the dock. Our family had a great stay, nice to see that the lake hasn't changed much in the 20 years since were were there last. We hope to return again.
Our Book Club of six close friends rented Loon Lodge for an Autumn weekend retreat. We couldn't have picked a better place! It was clean, comfortable, and cozy and the location was A+, complete with stunning foliage, lake and mountain views, kayaks, a canoe and rowboat for enjoying the lake, and Ebenezer's pub a short drive away for sampling Belgian beer and great food. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed to cook a hearty breakfast, and Theresa was great about answering questions and communicating information about the cabin. We plan on coming back! Thank you for sharing your special place with us, Theresa!
