About The Owner

I enjoy the outdoors...from surfing to duck hunting...I much rather head out on an adventure then sit back and check out the tube. Unless it's college football season and the Georgia bulldogs are ripping it up.

The Owner purchased this house in 2005

Why The Owner chose Driggs

The Great outdoors...mountain biking to white water rafting. Teton Valley ID is one of the most spectacular places in the world ! I enjoy the Valley so much I purchased a second home in Driggs, ID.

What makes this house unique

The beauty of my place is that you can experience a great bike ride, white water rafting trip, and a hike all in the same day. Or you can choose to do nothing and kick back with your favorite book and relax on the deck and let the Grand Teton be your backdrop. Up to you.

Great location, great value

  • 5 of 5

We spent two weeks in Roger's house during September, 2017. Great house, great location for us, we floated the Teton, and the Snake, fished in Teton Park and golfed around Driggs. Lots less commotion (traffic) than over in Jackson.

The house was well stocked and comfortable. Just my wife and me most of the time but we did have our daughter and some friends over for a couple dinners and had lots of room.

Our weather was hot and dry, but we left in snow. Anyone going West in September has to be aware that you will likely have some smokey days as the west is in perpetual draught and burns all summer.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

What a great place to stay! Roger was quick to respond to all inquiries even when he was fighting his own battles with the hurricanes! The house was perfect for us! Three bedrooms and three bathrooms gave everyone their own space and made it so nice. We had everything we needed for our trip. The kitchen was very well stocked. All we had to do was add our own groceries. We ate at home and made sandwiches for our days in the park in order to save a lot of money so it was perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend this house because the views can't be beat!

Amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

Roger was so helpful and a wonderful host. His house has marvelous views of the Grand Teton and is a short drive to the Grand Targhee ski area, and a variety of trailheads - Table Mountain and the Wind Cave were two of our family favorites. The kitchen is well stocked and family friendly. We had plenty of room for our family of six. There are three large bathrooms, too! You have a great sense of privacy here. We were very glad that we did not book the condo in Jackson we had looked at. You are close to the Tetons and the West entrance to Yellowstone is about an hour and a half drive through beautiful Idaho farmland. Heise Hot springs is an hour away - perfect after several days of hiking. Driggs has two excellent brew pubs and an incredible grocery store - Broulim's- is five minutes from the house. Our family would have stayed another week- or two! I hope we can come back next year!

Beautiful and Tranquil

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip ever the Teton Valley and we couldn't have picked a more scenic and relaxing place to stay. The house was well-stocked, nicely maintained and landscaped. The view of Grand Teton is magnificent. The neighborhood includes a number of small horse ranches. Most important of all, the house is convenient to town, grocery shopping, etc., yet isolated enough from it's neighbors to provide a peaceful place to call your temporary home. We loved the warm summer days and chilly nights. The gentle sound of the wind rushing through the quacking Aspens surrounding the house was an unexpected treat. Wish we could have stayed longer than 6 nights. We look forward to returning one day.

A Grand View!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from Roger's beautiful home in the Teton Valley. We drove 34 hours with three small children to be there and we don't regret a moment of that journey to find ourselves with such a lovely view of Grand Teton. We spent our days hiking in the Tetons and our evenings enjoying our meals from the patio. We hope to return to this home and highly recommend it.

The perfect place...a cozy home with a fabulous view!

  • 5 of 5

Roger's house was the perfect place for us to stay for a relaxing vacation. We reserved 6 days, stayed 7, and wish our lives had allowed us to stay longer! A quiet neighborhood, a few minutes to Drigg's which has a wonderful little natural food store we shopped at several times. In 45 minutes we were in Jackson on our way to Teton National Park, which was our destination. We drove there twice for long days in the park and it was great to come home to the house and still have a great view of Grand Teton from the living room and deck. We explored a Forest Service Road only a few minutes away which lead to trails for easy walks. This unique house was perfectly designed to take full advantage of the wonderful views from all the living areas and decks, with the bedrooms in the back. We walked nearly every evening down the driveway and down the quiet road. Communicating with Roger with any questions we had about the house, i.e. getting on wifi, etc. was easy, he was quick to respond and always helpful. I would recommend this home to anyway, and would definitely go back. Sigh...I wish it was soon!
