Step back in time! Available May 15 - Oct 15. This rustic, cozy cabin from the 1920's is peaceful and charming. One bedroom has twin beds, the other a double and they share a full bath. Linens and towels provided. Great fireplace in living room. Wrap-around porch with twin bed and dining room. Separate bunkhouse with double bed, no bath. All furnished with country antiques. Very well equipped kitchen including new dishwasher! Lots of berry picking.
The cabin is set back from a dirt road on an acre of land. It is a ten minute walk down to the lake, or a short drive(no water views). It is a private association lake, very quiet as no jet-skis are allowed. We have our own dock and lake front, plus a swimming platform. There is a canoe, rowboat, and paddle boat for tenants use. Lake is stocked for fishing.
The cabin is very family friendly and has many amenities for children: swing set, sandbox, toys, games and videos, basketball hoop, 14' enclosed trampoline and horseshoe pit. Crib and highchair also available.
Many hiking trails right off the property. We also have two bikes (cruisers). The area is very rural and has beautiful scenery. Norwich Lake is located 20 minutes from the cultural center of Northampton, a thriving University town with much to offer: theater, arts, great dining, antiquing.
Michelle is originally from Westfield, Mass. and bought this cabin when she had her twin boys to spend summers close to their Grandparents. Shown in photo with her husband, Robert and his son Alec, and their two dogs Stanley and Itsy. Twins Duke (left) and Cassius (right). We got married at the cottage this summer! Home is Los Angeles California where Michelle is an actor and writer, and Robert is a theater producer and director. Alec is a painter living in Vermont. The cottage at Norwich Lake is our home away from home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your piece of heaven on earth. The kids had a great time both in and out of doors in Huntington and the surrounding "Hill towns". You and your family have truly made your abode very comfortable and memorable!
We have been vacationing at the cottage for several years now. It's one of our favorite places. Super charming, very cozy, well appointed, amazingly quiet, and the lake is fantastic. We always feel right at home there, and hate to leave at the end of the week. Michelle is wonderful to work with as well.
This was a cozy cottage with all amenities as described. It was clean, well-maintained, and the owner was very friendly and helpful throughout the booking process and answered all of my questions in a timely and helpful fashion. We were in town for a college graduation and so did not have time to visit the lake, or to use the boats, bikes or any of the other many 'toys' on site. I would certainly recommend this to you if you want a quiet getaway in a very pretty part of MA. We may well be back for a real vacation in the future!
Charming is the best description of this property. We stayed for two weeks in late August with our daughter and her three children. There was plenty of beds to comfortably accomodate everyone. Lots of toys and videos for the kids. They loved the trampoline. At the lake, the canoe, row boat and paddle boat got lots of use.
Activities (on site or nearby): Hiking, Biking, Basketball, Horseshoes, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, Swimming, Boating, Rafting, mountain biking. Close to Berkshire attractions.
