Excellent getaway in White Montains

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this house during Christmas and NY many times and always look forward to returning. Great location - close to everything.

The house is warm, cozy and convenient. Picture perfect views to the lake and surrounding hills.

It was a pleasure to communicate with owner too, he is responsive and cares about you. Highly recommended!

This was a perfect place. The owner thought of everything you would need at this chalet. Kitchen ,sleeping, boating and all the in-betweens. Close to so many attractions. I rate this a 10.

Peaceful getaway from busy life

  • 5 of 5

We've been staying at the chalet for a handful of years now and always look forward to returning. We love the view! Amazing spot to watch the perseids last summer! The short walk across to the beach or people watching from the porch can't be beat. A canoe and kayaks provide an adventure straight from the driveway if you don't want to make the drive to any of the many activities the mountains provide. Short drives to popular hiking or longer drives to Storyland are easily made from this not so far away out of the way chalet. Our budget much appreciates the full kitchen and the many seats at the kitchen and patio tables provide space to eat, play games, or craft on a rainy day if you come prepared to do so (or run to a nearby store for supplies). The owner is easy to communicate with, responsive, and full of information to share if you care to ask or listen.I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get away.

Great destination for winter excursion

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at the chalet this winter! The house is nicely situated on a quiet lake that is an easy drive to North Conway and ski resorts (King Pine, Attitash, Cranmore locally, and Wildcat a bit further). The owner was very responsive and provided easy to follow check-in instructions, and kept us up to date on details prior to our arrival. Even with a lot of snowfall over our stay, the roads were well cleared and access was easy.

Inside, the chalet was well maintained, clean, and had plenty of room for our family of four. Our teenage kids were very happy to have their own private bedrooms. The single bathroom could be more of an issue for larger groups, but was fine for our family. The kitchen was well set up for preparing meals and we all enjoyed the cozy TV room and wood burning stove. WiFi access was also very nice to have.

Overall the house was exactly what we hoped for for our stay. We'd love to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake and deck when it's warmer. We'd definitely recommend the chalet to couples and families looking for a getaway.

Love the Chalet

  • 5 of 5

This is such a "homey" lovely place. The lake is perfect right outside the front door, and the playground next to it is fantastic. We loved it so much we are renting again this Summer. There is so much to do and there are so many things nearby to do. Our favorite is taking the kids kayaking. The Chalet is very clean and welcoming. The wood stove is great, the big screen TV is wonderful and they have a great movie collection. I would definitely recommend renting the Chalet to anyone I know. It’s absolutely beautiful at night. Having a nice glass of wine and sitting on the porch looking at the stars is also another favorite of ours. The Chalet really has everything you need- even board games! The list goes on about the all the great things with this rental. You will not be disappointed. If you are missing anything there is a Walmart and a Hannaford near by. The local restaurants nearby are fantastic. Very family friendly. It’s the perfect place to really enjoy some family time with the kids.
