Tucked away along a country road between Siena and Volterra sits Podere Timignano, a wonderfully characteristic farmhouse perched on a hill and surrounded by 7 hectares of fields, woodland and panoramic views.
The house has been restored with great care over the years using many ancient stone works from churches and ruins.
An oval swimming pool (10 x 6.5 m), paved with local stone, is hidden at the end of a wooded path behind the house. This is shared only with the owners.
Timignano is mainly powered by photovoltaic and thermal solar panels, keeping its environmental impact to a minimum.
