East Orleans is the perfect place to live. It has outstanding ocean and bay beaches as well as opportunities for fresh water swimming, and boating. After vacationing in many of the towns on the outer Cape, the couple chose Orleans because of the amenities in town (fine restaurants and shops), the bike trail, and the professional way that the town is managed. Drinking water quality is exemplary and the town maintains the beaches and public ways with high standards.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Orleans at the Beach House! It had all the amenities we could ask for and was centrally located to all we wanted to see~ We have vacationed in Orleans for about 4 years and just love the area~ Pat was easily available for any questions we may had had~ The basket of fresh garden vegetables was very nice~
You won't have to leave town all week! You will be at Nauset Beach in two minutes for exciting ocean swimming. Or take a quick trip across town to Cape Cod Bay for warm water swims in calm bay waters, stunning sunsets and walks on seemingly endless sand flats at low tide. Enjoy first-rate restaurants, miniature golf, shops, and the Academy of Performing Arts. A wide range of water sports including kayaking, fishing and boating is available nearby. Watch a Cape Cod League baseball game at night! Attend one of the many craft fairs or concerts in the town center. The possibilities are endless!
