Let our two bedroom newly-renovated and nicely furnished slopeside condo in conveniently-located Mountain Lodge be your home-away-from-home! We offer a two-bedroom condo in the highly desirable Mountain Lodge property! The unit has a custom built-in recessed oak ski rack and oak wainscoting and solid cherry cabinetry! Our slopeside location offers magnificant views of the slopes, with the Ballhooter high-speed quad-lift just 30 yards away! The two bedroom unit was remodeled in the Summer 2006 and additional wainscoting was added in an additional renovation Summer/Fall 2009.
Unit 316 is located on the third floor with magnificent views of the slopes. This location is perfect for families with little ones because the beginner slope, Skidder, is nearby. Begin skiing when they drop the ropes in the morning and come in for a nice hot lunch and head back out for the afternoon. Little ones can easily nap in the afternoon and no trudging your gear on the shuttle bus and dealing with that aggravation. Then, night life is just steps away in Snowshoe's village, with plenty of restaurant options. Or, stay in Mountain Lodge and enjoy night life and restaurants right in the building! Mountain Lodge offers an italian restaurant, Auntie Pastas, and an arcade for the kids.
Little ones will love Split Rock pool, just steps away from Mountain Lodge's back door. Split Rock pool also has two large outdoor hot tubs. This is one of the most convenient locations on the top of the mountain! You're right in the Central Village. Once you arrive at the top of the mountain, just park your car in Mountain Lodge's private, guarded parking lot. No need for your car until you're ready to head back home.
Condo is approximately 30 yards from the top of the Ballhooter lift. Step out of Mountain Lodge's back door and you're just a few steps away from Snowshoe Village!
This two-bedroom unit sleeps 6 (two queen beds and queen sleeper sofa). The condo has cable TV with DVD/video players in the living room area (and another TV in each bedroom). All furnishings are brand new renovated Summer 2006.
Kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils (you supply the food), with dishwasher, stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, small appliances, all dinnerware and pots and pans. The unit has a small balcony off of the living room that offers beautiful slope views and a direct view of the Ballhooter lift. There are two full baths (one in master bedroom and one adjoining slopeside bedroom).

ALL RENTALS REQUIRE A 2-NIGHT MINIMUM (NON-HOLIDAY PERIODS) AND A 3-NIGHT MINIMUM DURING HOLIDAY PERIODS.
To reserve the condo, we must have a $300 refundable security deposit and a signed rental agreement. The security deposit is not included in the rental amount (but, it will be refunded in full following your check out, provided that there is no damage to the unit or missing items). That's all that we need to confirm your reservation. Full payment of the rental amount must be received no later than 30 days prior to check-in date (payment by checks/money orders), OR 60 days prior to check-in (credit card payments).

Location: convenient to both slopes and Village. Free private parking (with gates).
Our unit faces the slopes, not the parking lot. Take a look at the photos we posted, as they speak a thousand words!
All together we had 6 guys fit in this condo, and while it was a little tight, it did the job quite well. The location, as stated in other reviews, is perfect, as you can literally ski right off of the Ballhooter lift into the hotel. You can tell that the Mountain Lodge building is quite old, but this condo's renovations must set it apart from the rest of the suites.
The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and dishes. The pull out sofa was big enough for two, and the entry way was perfect to leave all of our ski equipment in. You also can walk just a minute over to the split rock pools (although you still have to pay a small fee to get in), and the village is just minute away.
Quite possibly the only drawback to this room was the noise at night. Because you are facing the hill, you will hear the mountain's groomers going.. all night long. It was incredibly loud, but for the most part we were so tired from skiing that we slept through it.
All that being said I am very much looking forward to staying again next year.
We had a really good time. Your place is quite nice. We appreciated the new bathroom, the new kitchen appliances, as well as the small TV in the bedroom, the tons of hangers, and the nice storage / shelves in the bedroom closet. Everything was very clean and new looking.
My son found the sleeper-sofa one of the more comfortable he has ever slept on.
The lady at the front desk of Mountain Lodge had a very strong customer service demeanor.
Your location was key. Right out the back door to the lift and slopes allowed us to stop in for lunch or shed a sweater as the day warned up. Same with access to the village. Allowed us to park our car and forget about it for four days. Just a three minute walk to the restaurants.
I'll definitely keep you on record and if we come up again next year you will be the first we call.
Kids will love the video game arcade just off of the lobby area. Plus, 'The Big Top' located in Shaver's Center is a favorite destination for the kids (lots of arcade activities for the whole family)!

The building is no smoking building and no pets building. This is strictly enforced by Mountain Lodge staff. Owner incurs a penalty by the condo building for guests who bring pets or smoke in the unit. All fees are paid by the Guest. Owner has no flexibility on these restrictions. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
$300 refundable security deposit is a separate payment that is due prior to check in. This is not included in the rental amount. Cleaning fees are INCLUDED in our rates. Compare with other condos... we offer slope side units (with windows facing the beautiful slopes, not the drab parking lot) and there are no "add on"s for your lodging, as with other ML units.
