Very quiet and sunny in a building of the 17th century.

Apartment on the 4th floor (no elevator), 3 * rated by "Bouches-du-Rhone tourism" Completely renovated, nicely and simply decorated, comfortable, air conditioning and WIFI (charges, towels and bed are included in the price of the rental); located close to the Cours Mirabeau and the Saint Sauveur Cathedral, near Provencal markets, museums, cinemas (in VO), public parking (4 minutes walk), mini electric buses, in the center of the historic city, and 15 minutes from the countryside and Cézanniens.

Degressive rates according to the length of stay; Final cleaning and electricity are included in the rent.

There is a cot (with bed linen), a high chair, and an extra mattress for children under 16 years old. All children under 18 pay no extra charge

      All pets are welcome (a crate with litter box, is provided for cats).

CANALSAT subscription: TV channel broadcasting original films (subtitles and others) and major sporting events, free of charge.

A substantial breakfast is provided for the day after the arrival of travelers, as well as a bottle of rosé wine (or white depending on the season), and some appetizers, syrups and orange juice for children, as a welcome offer .

There is air conditioning in the living room, as well as on the mezzanine. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, etc ... are at your disposal in the accommodation and the products necessary for their use (as well as toiletries, and comfort, of first necessity).

T2 of 35m2, consisting of 1 stay with 1 bed of 140/190, and a dining room with a corner cooks + 1 room located on a mezzanine of 10m2 (in addition to the total surface) with 1 bed of 140/200, a large wardrobe and a small TV (flat screen). The two part are separated by a door. In the living room, a table (with extensions) for 4 to 8 people; in the dining room a table for 4 people. aperitifs; a substantial breakfast is planned for the first day, as well as a bottle of rosé or white wine. For late arrivals, there are 50 meters supermarket, open until midnight during the week, 12 hours and 30 Sundays and holidays, where you will find everything that is necessary for your meal. Chair and crib, plus a folding mattress of a place are available for children under 14 years. At less than 100 meters, a peasant market, and fishmongers, present every morning, even on Sunday.

Perfect description: A Very Nice Apartment!

Great location in center of town. A narrow winding staircase takes you up to a splendid, comfortable, spacious apartment! Madame has made certain that you will have everything you need for comfort: towels, blankets, soap, shampoo, even welcoming snacks & wine! A wonderful hostess!! Step out the door and everything is close by including a Monoprix grocery store on the next block. Don't miss the nearby daily markets!!

A Great Little Place To Stay!

Me and my brother stayed here for 3 days to relax after I had been hiking in the French Alps. The apartment is located centrally in Aix en Provence on the top 4th floor of a building where the owner Anne lives conveniently on the 2nd floor. She is very hospitable and anxious to ensure you have a good stay, although she cannot speak English.

The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. There is a wide sofa bed in the lounge and a further double bed located on a mezzanine floor accessed by a narrow stairway. Everything works fine although the shower took a bit of practice to balance hot and cold. One morning I just gave up and had a cold shower. We were a bit disappointed that the balcony wasn't really big enough to sit out on, being precariously perched on the tiled roof. Anyway it was very hot and sticky outside during our stay and we tended to keep the windows closed and the 2 air conditioning units on. There are plenty of places nearby to sit out and relax in the cooler evenings.

I'd stay here again. The street life in the centre of Aix is fantastic although a little claustrophobic and we were pleased to get into the wonderful hills to the east of town.

Perfect Aix Apartment

My adult son and I stayed in Anne's apartment for 5 nights while we are visiting my other son who studies in Aix en Provence. We could not have picked a better place to stay! Anne is a lovely woman and she lives in the same building which makes it convenient to make plans for entry upon arrival. The location was perfect, on a quiet street in the old section, an easy walk to everything. The apartment was quaint & beautifully decorated with two big, very comfortable beds, nice living space, cute little balcony and pillows for sitting outside, washer and dryer, and even a dish washer. Anne is very thoughtful to provide everything you need when you first arrive including bottled water, juice, bread, butter and condiments, the kitchen is small but well appointed for cooking. There is also an iron, hair dryer, plenty of nice towels, and I especially appreciated the cozy bathrobe! My only caution would be that the stairs might be a problem for some people, it's a steep 4 flights with no lift. I would highly recommend Anne's apartment to my friends and family and I hope to stay there again the next time I am in the beautiful city of Aix en Provence!

Lovely large apartment, great location

Beautiful spacious apartment, well equipped, nicely decorated. Anne is welcoming and helpful. The only drawback is there are 66 large steps to get to it, do you have to be able to climb stairs. We enjoyed our stay in this accommodation. Great location, easy walk to tourist sites, restaurants, a daily market.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location

Top floor apartment with everything you could want for a weeks stay. Even though the lovely Anne doesn't speak English she was extremely helpful. Especially the little touches like supplying bread, coffee & orange juice upon arrival.

It is the perfect location for exploring the centre of Aix, with its cobbled streets & boutique shops. The market is a must for every visitor. There is a nearby secure multi-storey car park at Bellegarde which is 2 minutes away & on the main ring road so very easy to get in & out of the city.

I could live in this apartment & so would happily recommend it to anyone.
