Come stay with us!

I've stayed here a few times now and I always have an excellent time. The estate is comprised of everything you could possibly need to escape from the stress of the average Californian. It is just far enough from the border to really feel like you've left the US but close enough to constantly be within a safe distance (about an hour).
The land itself has everything you could possibly need for a good time: a pool with a volleyball net and basketball hoop, a half basketball court, a volleyball court, horseshoes, a pool table, a bar, a fire pit... And if that isn't enough, the property is situated by a river where you can kayak, a horse trail, and is within walking distance to the beach! It's well-maintained and very accommodating.
If that isn't enough, the owner is one in a million- this guys had got it figured out! He keeps the place in immaculate condition and always keeps it in check. Also, it is about a ten minute drive from restaurants, bars, spas, hiking trails, and Ensanada. If you're looking for a place that has it all, stop looking.
The first time I came to this estate, it was for New Year 2015. I had an incredible experience and have been back numerous times.
The best thing about this place is that you NEVER need to leave. It's situated along a river that feeds into the ocean. The views are incredible! But it's not just the location, it's all the amenities that are available to you.
There is an awesome volleyball court that has an incredible view of the river, and my friends and I will hold sunset yoga sessions on the grass field. There's a basketball court, a horse shoe playing area, a pool, and a lot of places to read, meditate, or do whatever you want. The pool also has a volleyball net there.
There's an amazing bar area, a fire pit, so even if you are here for a weekend or a week, there is plenty to do.
There are great places nearby to eat at, or you can grill or cook anything you'd like in the kitchen. There's a pool table inside, darts, a nice flat screen, but I don't even think about television when I visit.
There are plenty of bathrooms and beds, so you'll never have to worry about there not being enough.
There is wifi, so if you need to work, you can do it remotely here. I have done this on a few occasions. However, I prefer to enjoy this compound without technology. I love coming here for beer pong, for all the games you can play with your friends, and because the estate is so large, you will always be able to find a place to getaway from it all. Or you can go to the beach, which is NEVER crowded.
Whether you're looking to party with a bunch of people or spend some quality time with a few close friends, this is the right place to do it.
I have been going to Baja Oasis since I was a child, and now my friends and I are becoming regulars! My first time back was with five of my friends for New Year's Eve 2015 and it was even more beautiful than I remembered! We have been back three more times since :)
I've always stayed in the main house and my friends loved the cabana. We've had on-site massages (best ever and only $25/hr), grilled, enjoyed the pool, made s'mores in the living room fireplace, played volleyball, horseback riding (I think it was $25/hr), walked to the beach, gone out to dinner and had a blast with John! The rooms are comfortable, the living room has a huge, very comfortable sectional (you can easily fit your entire party on it) and everything is simply gorgeous. There were 18 of us here during the summer for my aunt's birthday and it was a blast! Just to put things in perspective, I've easily spent $300/night for a 2bed/1bath condo on the beach in PB. A condo. You get SO MUCH house and property for your money. It's the ultimate rental compound. We're definitely hooked on coming down, and it's close enough to want to come down all the time. I absolutely have the best memories here!
I've never had a problem reaching out (sometimes last minute!) to John to setup my next vacation. He makes an awesome host!! He has the best connections in the area- from recommending massages from Clara (on-site), horseback riding from Biho (local rancher), the servers are the surrounding restaurants and bars, everybody knows him. He's the kind of guy you genuinely like and know you'll have a great time when he's with your party. (Thanks for everything John!!) If you have Facebook, find them at https://www.facebook.com/bajaoasis or check out pictures we've posted on Instagram (we've been using #bajaoasis for our pictures.) My friends and I are already planning my #dirty30 in January :)
Stayed here this past weekend and everyone in our group would agree the house was great. Everything you see in the pictures is available and the house now had pool volleyball/basketball as well. We didn't have enough time to fully take advantage of everything the house had to offer. Would definitely rent again.
I stayed at Baja Oasis in October 2014 and am going again this weekend, August 2015, with a new group of people. This house has everything that a large group would need to be thoroughly entertained for days without even needing to leave the property- professional grade volleyball, basketball, pool, horseshoes, multiple fire pits, outside bar, large patio to double as dance floor, etc. It is a gated compound within a gated community and feels extremely safe. The city outside the gated community is filled with extremely nice locals and has great taco shops and bars! The beach is walking distance with cute Palapas and a beach with surf and a personal waiter is about a 3 minute drive. This is the absolute best way to enjoy a Mexico getaway and I'll only be booking at the Baja Oasis moving forward!
