Restful Winter Retreat

  • 5 of 5

I spent a week here from January 31st to February 7th. There was record snowfall during my visit, but I didn't mind at all. That's because this spacious unit had everything--I didn't need to go out.

The kitchen was spacious, and the appliances were all in tip-top shape. It looked like the refrigerator was brand new! Downstairs in the basement is a large room with a washer and dryer, and a table-tennis table.

The king sized bed on the 3rd floor was HUGE. The shower on the third floor was large enough to fit 2 persons with room to spare, so you can both start the day squeaky-clean at the same time. The monument views from the unit are lovely. And even though it's right off route six, there was no traffic noise. I never slept so well. The bed was confortable, and there was no problem with the heat or electricity, despite record setting winds and low temperatures.

Everything was nearby. I had a massage at the Shui Sps (90 minute warm stone massage. It was HEAVEN! Ask for 'bobby' if you make an appointment, he's been my massage guy for the past 4 years of winter vacations), had dinner at NAPI'S restaurant (which also has great gluten free options!). Brunch at Fannizi's, and a Superbown party at the Wave Bar were highlights of the trip.

But, back to the unit. The rooms and hallways were in beautiful bold colors, and the third floor bedroom has a glass sliding door and a balcony with table and chairs outside. (I didn't take advantage of this due to the blizzard) Parking for 2 vehicles, free wifi, and a fully stocked kitchen rounded out this over-sized unit.

As fun as Provincetown is during the summer, seeing it in the dead of winter holds a special beauty and magic all its own. I will be sure to return to this unit next year, again, for my February vacation.

A special shout out to Bea and Mike from Pat Shultz Realty who got me keys to the unit very quickly when I accidentally locked myself out on a very cold day. Thanks for the prompt service and making everything so darn easy.

Very nice home in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time visiting Provincetown and we were very pleased with our stay in this beautiful home. It was extremely spacious, clean, comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed. It was so nice to have a full size washer and dryer, a good quality iron and ironing board, modern kitchen appliances, two dedicated parking spaces, wireless internet, a deck off our bedroom on the top floor, and many other amenities. We loved it! Although there were only two of us during our stay, this home can easily accommodate six adults with plenty of room to spread out.

The owners really thought of many details to prepare for their renters, including fresh linens and towels (perfectly arranged on the beds), new shower curtains throughout, and a new gas grill! The location is fantastic. We could easily walk to the center of town in about five minutes and meet our friends for dinner. There is an outstanding new seafood restaurant (Mac's) with great oyster happy hour specials within a one-minute walk from the house. And yet, with everything so close by and within a short walking distance, we absolutely loved coming back to the peace and quiet of this home at the end of the day.

We have often thought about our pleasant stay here and would definitely choose this home again. We have recommended it to all of our friends.

Owner's Response: I appreciate the review because it acknowledges my efforts to make my vacationers comfortable. After I clean a unit and get it ready for the next group I feel good knowing they will enjoy themselves.

Spooky Bear Weekend Perfect Get-Away

  • 4 of 5

Great place for those who like to be close enough to the action, but far enough to just relax and have a day in. This weekend in particular was very stormy so it was quite nice to have a space that allowed us to cook and gather with a bunch of friends while the weather took it's course. The basement has a nice rec room with ping pong and darts so you don't have to just sit around and watch TV either.

For those who like to get away on a budget it's conveniently located very close to Stop-n-Shop so you don't have to eat out for every meal. If you don't mind a bit of a walk (10 minutes) Commercial St. is a straight shot up Shank Painter to Bradford St., (you can cut behind the restaurant if you like to get to SP).

Overall a very clean and accessible space for everyone to enjoy!

Owner's Response: Actually if the vacationers walked from the patio and thru the parking lot they would have made it to Town center in 5 minutes. They doubled the distance walking thru Shank Painter. I'll have to leave a map to make it easier for folks to get their bearings.

We have rented this townhouse for several years now and spent three wonderful weeks here this year. There are so many positives. First, the location. It is right on the edge of town, no more than a ten minute walk to Commercial Street. The area is very quiet with ample parking. Cumberland Farms (for your morning coffee) is a three minute walk and Stop and Shop Supermarket is very close. Herring Cove Beach is about a two mile drive. Second, the accommodations. The first floor contains the kitchen, dining area, den, and bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms with a shared bath. The third floor has a huge master bedroom and bath with a sliding glass door to an outdoor balcony. All bedrooms have TVs in addition to the one in the den. The finished basement contains washer and dryer and rec room with a ping-pong table. The unit is very comfortable. And, thirdly, Liz, the owner, and Coldwell-Banker, the realtor are wonderful to do business with. All our needs were met, and if there was a small problem, it was dealt with immediately. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here.

Spread your wings here!

This was a terrific rental for the off-season. We had everything we needed, and when others talk about clean, they are not kidding!

All of the rooms are spacious, town is close by, and if you're a teacher, you will feel right at home tucked away behind the school. Having a washer/dryer was a huge plus. All of the amenities were top-notch and carefully chosen for a comfortable, carefree stay.

Outstanding rental!

  • 5 of 5

The best part about renting this townhouse is the owner and realty company. Both make renting so easy and pleasant. The owner is a very nice person and straight-forward when dealing with you. The realty company is also very nice and very organized and makes signing the lease (by e-mail) and picking up and dropping off the key a snap. My daughter had a pre-wedding weekend with friends. Everyone loved the townhouse. Afterwards I got to spend a few days with a friend in the townhouse and we totally enjoyed our stay. It is very spacious and totally equipped, and was delivered to us in good order and very clean. Just bring your toothbrush and clothes! There's a huge washer and dryer on the first level. The beds are extremely comfortable with beautiful bedspreads. The townhouse is much prettier and much larger than than the pictures of it! The layout is very good as the entire first level is a common area. The bedrooms are on the second and third floors. There is absolutely no street noise or noise from the surrounding units. It is located a couple of blocks from a liquor store and large supermarket. It's a short walk to the lively West End of Commercial Street, with all the restaurants and shops. Don't pass this one up!
