Paddle or walk to a nearby marina where you can dine for lunch or dinner at their lakeside restaurant. Fishing is also abundant as we are situated at the mouth of the Salmon River, and just 1 mile north of a boat launch for easy lake access. Bluff Point Golf Resort, the oldest resort golf coarse in America, is just 1 mile north where you can attempt a hole in one! If you choose to bike, there are many scenic routes available, which include the lake shore area as well as bike paths into the heart of the city. During the fall months, immerse yourself in the beauty of colorful foliage while you hike the famous 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks. In the winter, cross country ski our open parks, sled at Fox Hill, downhill ski Whiteface Mountain, ice skate in Lake Placid and maybe even snowshoe on the frozen lake if you are lucky! In the spring, visiting a maple sugar house is a must!!
