Snowboarding Trip Get Away

  • 5 of 5

About 10 close friends, my wife and I planned a trip to Tahoe for some all day snowboarding and we needed a place to stay. This South Lake Tahoe cabin was the perfect solution. It has an open concept for friends and family to congregate, multiple rooms, beds, game room to accommodate large groups, fully equipped kitchen and good amenities to maintain a comfortable living environment. The location has easy access to the highway and is conveniently close to both ski resorts we were planning to attend. The feedback I received from my friends and family at the end of the weekend is they definitely would like to stay here again! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Cabin stay

  • 5 of 5

Place was great!! Only downside was the aracde now working. Other then that really big place with pool table ! No need to go to the mountain to have a snow ball fight with the kids when you can just go to the back yard.

Amazing home with everything you need!

  • 5 of 5

I came to South Lake with a group of 10 adults and we were pleasantly surprised with Eva and John's home! The pictures do no do justice as to how much space the home actually has. The living room/family room area right when you enter is extremely spacious. We had lots of space to play charades and other fun group games. The kitchen is nice and open and has everything you need to make any meal. The house has a long hallway with good sized bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone as you walk down. All 10 of my group had a comfortable bed to sleep on. The location of the house also had grocery stores and restaurants super close by. The only downside was that we were not able to take advantage of the downstairs game room/pool table because it was really hard to get down to that area of the home because of the insane amount of snow. It would have been nice to have that area cleared out for us before we arrived so we could take advantage of it. Other than that the home is amazing and I would highly recommend staying here!

Eva and John were super nice hosts and were easy to get a hold of. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay in South Lake!

Great home, would visit again!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed here 2 years in a row during winter and will continue to re-visit as long as the owners make the home available. The home is very large with a huge backyard. This was perfect for my extended family of 10. Pool table and abundance of snow in the backyard kept the kids entertained during the days we stayed here. It was well equipped with cookware and linens. For anything else needed, it's a short drive to the plaza where there is a Raley's supermaket, KMart and multiple food options. About a 15 minute drive to the casinos and Heavenly Ski Resort. Owners are great, communication via email and phone were no problem.

We'll Be Back

  • 5 of 5

This was my first trip to Tahoe and staying at this rental was the best decision I could have made! I looked at numerous listings in the area but after seeing the reviews for this house and photos, decided to stay here.

First of all, John and Eva made the booking process easy. John was super friendly and called me the day before to ensure I had received the keys to the place and gave me the weather forecast.

Upon arriving at the house my family and I were super impressed at how large, clean and well-stocked the house was. One of the rooms had two sets of bunk beds which made it easy for us as we had a few little ones in the family. There were two living rooms, one very large one that made it comfortable for everyone to play board games in. The kitchen was a dream! There were cake pans, cookie sheets, pots and pans, serving spoons and some basic spices. We came prepared with all of our own cooking ware but it was good to know we had back up. There was a grill in the back patio and propane was supplied---it was a nice detail. Down the stairs there was a game room that had a pool table. It was great to have some separation from the main house. The back yard was fenced in so it was great to have the kids play in. We were very fortunate and got some snow.

We will definitely be staying here again on our next trips to Lake Tahoe!

5 girls weekend trip

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriends and I had an awesome time in this beautiful house.  The house was spacious , very clean, and in a great location.  Sat. morning we went for a run and it was beautiful sight seen.  Rayleys is 3 min away, shops/ restaurants/ and casinos are 3-10 min away.  I recommended this house to all my fam. and friends and recommend it to any one who wants to experience Tahoe in a beautiful, spacious awesome house.  We are planning on going back to Tahoe in the summer and we are definitely renting this house. The owner was very friendly and helpful (:
