Why Talis Abolins chose Mount Baker
The residence is located in the Mount Baker Park Addition, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. This is a quiet historic neighborhood with amazing architecture and landscape design, within walking distance of Lake Washington, great parks and trails, and charming local eateries. At the same time the residence is directly linked to the rest of the bustling City by light rail, and to the mountains by nearby interstate, as well as other sites on Puget Sound by Seattle ferry.

Nice place to stay
Talis and Marla were very friendly and helpful. Their rental is very nice. The place is well equipped -maybe another mirror some place. My only complaint was that we could hear the people upstairs walking around. However, I would stay here again!
A nice apartment in Mt. Baker
We are very pleased with our stay in this property. It’s everything we were expecting and more.
Space, amenities and location
Talis and Marla are friendly and gracious hosts. Very well appointed and spacious apartment in great neighborhood perfect for longer stays. The kitchen is a stunner with ample storage space, fully equipped, and with a full-size refrigerator and professional grade gas stove/oven. We enjoyed the private back yard and convenient walking distance to local restaurants including the charming Mioposto.
Perfect location , clean, great place
Awesome place worked perfectly
Good location , clean, highly recommend
Excellent location to many different tourist attractions around Seattle! We didn’t use the bus system but drove our car and got around easily. We parked on the street just down from the rental, a nice, clean, quiet neighborhood! The rental was perfect for our family of 4. Clean and nicely updated! We would definitely stay here again.
Relaxing and Homey
I absolutely loved our stay here. It was quiet and relaxing, and within walking distance of many places. The owners really made this feel like home.
The historic Mount Baker neighborhood was influenced by the Olmsted Brothers as they designed Seattle's connected system of parks and parkways along Lake Washington. The neighborhood is often the site of architecture tours along its scenic boulevards and turn of the century craftsmen homes. The access to Lake Washington is superb, and connections to the local rail system makes it possible to enjoy the City and return to the airport or Amtrak Rail without a car. In 2018 our Mount Baker Park neighborhood was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.
