A small town full of history rooted in ancestral traditions, Uzès is located in Languedoc Roussillon, between Alès and Nîmes. She is the first Duchy of France.

The city developed with the construction of the famous Pont du Gard, which connected the waters of the source of the Eure to Nîmes. Small prosperous city, it became a duchy in 1565, then grows quietly until becoming the charming city that one knows today. Uzès is classified City of Art and History. A lot of charm for this apartment 18th, spacious, bright, in the city center of Uzès, with 7 windows, near the place in herbs and near the historic center. Including big room in the high ceilings with bed in 140 and clicks, lounge with two clicks in 140, small kitchen, bathroom with TOILETS, shower-room and separate TOILETS. Quite pleasantly furnished, with new bedding and dishes (crockery), big screen TV, radio, toaster, etc.

Very close of Avignon and Nimes, Uzes reveals one incomparable Latin charm and a grace. The former (former) duchy of France (kept) a beautiful architectural heritage, which irradiates a campaign (countryside) where fruits abound, vineyards (vines) and truffle oaks.

A stroll to Uzès begins with a touring in its old center. We cross pedestrian streets and trendy shops and especially treasures of architecture there. L'appartement était spacieux et confortable. Fonctionnel, tout y était pour rendre le séjour agréable sans surprise. Le parking était à proximité,facile d'accès et en nombre suffisant. Très propre. Ĺ'accueil était chaleureux et les explications au sujet du fonctionnement étaient claires. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Seul bémol: pas d'internet.A recommander sans hésitation.

Dur, dur, dur… de repartir !

Uzes est magique !

& cet appartement, dans un immeuble du XVIIIe siècle réhabilité, est idéalement situé dans le quartier (fraîchement & magnifiquement rénové) des Bourgades à ne pas manquer.

Il a tout le charme de l'ancien temps : ni parking ni machine à laver, pas de double vitrage ni de clim, mais de grandes pièces spacieuses & lumineuses, des cheminées & des oeuvres d'art partout ! on y respire, on s'y sent à l'aise, fin prêt pour la Place aux Herbes, mais aussi pour la Vallée de l'Eure, pour la Promenade Racine, mais aussi pour les ruelles piétonnes ! le tout à pied !

Ce gros village vous extirpe de la furie moderne : pas de feux tricolores, mais des voitures qui s'arrêtent de bonne grâce pour vous laisser traverser les boulevards de ceinture… on vit au ralenti, on prend le temps, on profite du marché, des terrasses, les restaurants sont sympa, les gens vous parlent… il suffit de poser la voiture au parking du Refuge ou à celui du terrain de boules, les deux à 150 mètres, et tout va tellement mieux !

Nous voulons nous installer à Uzès, & pour y trouver notre maison nous reviendrons prospecter, certainement depuis cet appartement s'il est disponible.

Enfin il faut remercier Martine & Olivier, qui nous ont accueillis en toute confiance, & le propriétaire, très réactif, qui y laisse de plus tout le nécessaire, du tablier de vaisselle au rouleau de papier hygiénique, des cartes & guides touristiques au liquide vaisselle ! Rien n'y manque à l'arrivée, avec des tarifs qui n'ont rien d'outrancier loin s'en faut !

Bref, il ne faut pas hésiter !
