No 8 Estuary View is a contemporary and yet cosy apartment with a nautical decor and all the modern amenities, wifi, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The apartment is in a beautiful old building with its own parking space and is also wheel chair accessible. It's elevated position offers amazing views of the Estuary, flushing harbour and the headlands of St Mawes. These views can be enjoyed from the master bedroom, lounge and patio. The Flat offers 2 large bedrooms, one a super king size double, and the other a double and a single with 2 bathrooms. One shower room and another larger bathroom for a luxury bath. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and fully equipped for every kind of cook. The living room is the perfect place to relax with its patio doors leading onto the balcony and lots of comfy sofas and cushions.

This stunning property is perfectly positioned to enjoy the local facilities in Falmouth including fabulous restaurants, cafes, shops and antiques all a short stroll away. The beautiful beaches of Falmouth are also walking distance away and the estuary provides a large variety of sailing and boat trips.

The perfect property for relaxing / exploring or adventuring all that Falmouth and the surrounding areas have to offer.

We loved staying in the apartment. Everything is very close nearby, while the location is still very peaceful and got a splendid view to the boats and to Flushing. Just about 100 metres away are the best organic bakery, vibey pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes, and the ferry pier to St Mawes. The apartment got lots of space, nice reception, kitchen/dining, and bedrooms. The only downside I've found is that there are no standard wardrobes or a desk. Instead there are built-in closets. But this is up to your taste.

the property was well maintained and beds gave us all a good nights sleep all week..shower was lovely..kitchen well equipped..living room was beautiful...all in all a good stay in falmouth ...view was to die for....thanks for a lovely stay

I love this place! Warm welcome with wine!

I love this place. Despite a short notice booking, I still had a lovely short stay and enjoyed the lovely complimentary bottle of wine. It was close to town and well equipped and comfy. It was clean and close parking made life much easier.

Disappointing

Did not meet our expectations for an apartment advertised as luxury. The accommodation was basic and not very well arranged considering that it was advertised as suitable for a wheelchair user. My husband is partially disabled and I am very glad he was not in a wheelchair. There are no grab rails in the shower so it was not suitable for him at all.

I do not count 2 teaspoons, 4 cereal/desert bowls and no vegetable knife 'well equipped'. In fact as there were only 7 mugs for accommodation advertised as being for five people it seemed unnecessary to have a dishwasher as it was necessary to wash up after most meals.

The term 'balcony' is totally misleading as it is actually a walkway through to the front door and that of the next apartment.

Advertised as dog friendly but you were not told about the 'house rules for dogs' until you arrived and not being able to even let her on the 'balcony' made it even worse.

The saving grace for the accommodation is the view. This is rather restricted from inside the accommodation but just as expected from the outside.

Although I would not use the accommodation again we did meet some nice people in the complex and they made up for the lack of facilities.

Magnificent views

“We were welcomed by the magnificent view over the estuary made even better by the sun shining and the sea sparkling. Inside the front door the apartment was as in the photos - it was spacious, airy, well equipped and very comfortable - and there was a lovely bottle of white wine awaiting us! We also benefited from being close to the old town with shops of all kinds. Although on this occasion we did not take advantage of the restaurants and pubs (I was travelling with my 94 year old mother) there were many which looked very inviting - maybe next time. The neighbourhood felt very safe and the neighbours very friendly. We would certainly return if heading for Cornwall in years to come - thank you Maxine for your welcome and care.”

Falmouth is home to Cornwall's National Maritime museum, Pendennis Castle and Rick Steins new restaurant and fish & chips.

There are passenger ferries to St Mawes and past wooded creeks and pretty hamlets to villages along the Fal and Helford Rivers.

There are diving and sailing schools, yacht charter, skippered cruises, water sports centres, whale and dolphin watching and fishing trips.

Falmouth's beaches, Gyllyngvase, Swanpool, Castle and Maenporth all have lovely white sands. Opposite Swanpool beach there is a tranquil nature reserve teaming with the local wildlife.
