Just walk in and you would never want to leave, you think you are in a picture and you pinch yourself twice before realising it is real. Why you want a holiday home? this is the answer, stunning view and peace make it.
View view and view. Plus the magic location of Agios Lazaros, on top of Psarou.
We absolutely loved staying at Villa Aqua. The home looks exactly like the photos and has an unbelievable view. We stayed with 8 people and had more than enough room. The fact that each room has a bathroom made it an excellent find. The kitchen is fully stocked and has all the cooking supplies you would need. We would all stay there again.
Only downside is that it is a bit of a trek to get and and the drive is rather steep and rugged. I'd suggest finding a driver or renting a car. There is nothing within walking distance to the house. That said, once you're at Villa Aqua you won't want to leave because the house, pool and view is perfection.
The villa was exactly as described on the website and the facilities were very good. We were 5 adults and had plenty of living room. The kitchen was well equipped and the property was clean and fresh. The owner was very quick to respond to any queries we had and the concierge answered any questions we had about Mykonos. As others have described the road to and from the villa is steep but this adds to the charm of the property and of course the fantastic view. We could walk to the beach for dinner but everywhere was very close by car. Mykonos town is 15 mins away.
We were a family group of 7 inlcuding 5 young adults, so the size of the villa was ideal, each room having its own bathroom. The villa is well equipped with several areas to sit and relax and we used the BBQ on more than one occasion. The walk to Psarou Beach is about 15 minutes and from there we walked to the next beach but one, to partake of watersports. We also used the watertaxi service offered from this beach all the way to Super Paradise beach, a relaxing and easy way of exploring the local coastline. Eating out very good either at Mykonos town or down at the local beach - check out the nights they offer Greek dancing, excellent entertainment. We did find the road to the villa daunting at first as it is very steep and windy, but you get used to it. Finally, many thanks to Apollo who met us on arrival and who was always available for advice if required. Yes we would recommend this villa, the views during the day and at night with the lights are worth the journey alone, thank you.
We stayed for a week just outside the busy season.
The arrangements were easy, the host perfect and Apollo a very useful Conceirge.
A perfect stay for us without the hustle and hustle of peak season. A car and Apollo's suggestion are a must. The island is small so everywhere is easily accessible. The local beach is easily walkable for the adventurous if you don't want the hassle of parking.
We'lol be back again and again whenever possible.
We were a Party of 8 with 2 Adults and 6 children with ages ranging from 25 to 20 staying for 9 nights.
From the moment we were met at the Airport by the wonderful concierge Apollo who sorted out the Car Rentals (nb the Company offers a useful free car parking spot when going into Mykonos Town) it was a stay to remember. We much appreciated the welcome basket of food and bottles of wine The description of the Villa was accurate regarding the location;the air-conditioning worked very well; the pool area was much enjoyed especially by the young, and facilities and the staff were very friendly. The car(s) hired needs to be a Jeep due to the steepness of the hill where the Villa is located and the Villa may not be suitable for very young children for this reason. The property was clean and well maintained and Apollo was most helpful in guiding us to the best restaurants in the area. There is a very good Carrefour supermarket 10 minutes away where we found all we needed when eating at the Villa. It was our first trip to the Island and we will certainly return here. By common consent the standard of the Mykonos restaurants was very high and the ambience also superb with good background music. The children also enjoyed the nightclubs.
Perched above the bay of Agios Lazaros and with extensive views over the waters south west of Mykonos, Aqua is a charming property part of a sought after area placed in a magnificent sea view position. The position of the property assures tranquillity away from the crowds while being within easy reach of the beaches of Psarou and Platis Yialos as well as the vibrant Chora of Mykonos. Of absolute importance the complete cover from the north wind the most frequent in Mykons.
