Located on Maxwell Beach next to the well known Bougainvillea hotel and near St. Lawrence Gap, the apartments at this condo are like no other on the entire south coast of the island. It's contemporary design of sleek lines and use of glass especially in the ocean view balconies and rails make for an unmatched and uninterrupted direct view of the beach and ocean right in front giving the feeling that you are right there where the waves are gently lapping on the sand. From the large powered, blue security gates, through the private driveway into the secure parking area, you know you have arrived at a beachfront residence a step above the rest. The red-hooded main entrance doors beckon into the cool, comfortable reception and seating area and beyond that the elevator and beach access hallway. Out in front is the main swimming pool, splash pool and bubble jacuzzi fringed by the immaculately maintained beachfront gardens with coconut palms and umbrellas for shade. The pool is equipped with sun loungers, tables and chairs and there is a garden pathway leading right onto the sandy beach. The property has an uncovered entertainment and tanning deck on the third floor equipped with BBQ facilities (rental). The gym is located on both the first and second floor. The first floor with the 'cardio' equipment and the second floor with the weights and resistance equipment. Both fully air-conditioned with bathroom and shower facilities. The two bedroom apartment has just under 1400sq.ft of comfortable and fully air-conditioned floor space missing nothing for a luxury self-catering holiday, from the full kitchen to beach, bath towels and blow dryer. Then fully push back the large glass doors to the balcony where you can either stretch out on one of the loungers or have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the table and chairs for dining outdoors with a view.

We stayed in the property for 10 days in summer 2014 - (over Cropover) and liked it so much we've booked to go back in December 2015. The apartment itself has everything you need (and more), the location is great. Close to restaurants and supermarkets but still quiet. The sea is calm enough to swim in but has enough movement for body boarding (at least in July/August). To top it all, Albert is so helpful, full of information and advice. Highly recommended.
For many years Ocean One has been our preferred accommodation whenever we are visiting Barbados. We have already schedule our next visit and look forward to another great vacation.
The units at Ocean One are superior in both location and comfort. Albert and his staff have provided excellent service and have helped us in all aspects of our visits from choice of car rental companies to general information of things to do while visiting Barbados.
Albert is a hands on Manager and is available as needed with just a quick phone call. His staff is courteous and attentive.
The units are always impeccably clean, security is excellent and the grounds are very well kept. The hotel next door has a great beach bar and restaurant that is only steps away along the beach.
A very well appointed and equipped rental.Away from traffic and on a good beach. The property is well managed very clean and well maintained. The letting agent manager Mr Albert Scheper was efficient and friendly and very helpful.
We would recommend this property to friends and family and will be returning for six weeks in January 2016 so will some of our family.

100% my favourite property in Barbados. I have spent my past four summers here and loved every minute. This property is 5 star luxury and the apartment is spacious and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The location is perfect as it is near lots of restaurants and bars and is on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. Would recommend highly!
Perfect apartment for a small family – rooms are big, each with ensuite… Modern kitchen appliances – beautiful patio overlooking ocean. Nice staff on property available to help in any way. Pool well maintained. Great location. Property manager Albert was a big help – very easy to deal with, very friendly. Don't miss the Fish Fry in Oistens Friday night - Uncle George's! Loved this place – hope to be back next year!
The property is directly on a lovely stretch of uncrowded white sand beach. Down at the end you can rent all manner of watercraft from jet skis to kayaks. The islands famous Oistins area is a 5-10 minute drive or bus ride away (US$1.00) and is famous for local fresh seafood cooked as you watch in an ocean view outdoors setting with many bars, craft on sale, music and much more. This area also has a full size supermarket, petrol station, ATM and gift and other gift shops Popular with both locals and visitors alike. A 'must see and do'. The area known as The Gap or the St Lawrence Gap is 5 minute's drive or 15 minutes walk (walking down the beach is quicker) and has a wide choice of restaurants, bars, shopping, nightlife/clubs, ATM and more.
