Sleeps 6-8, has one double bedroom and two twin rooms. There is also a good quality sofa bed in the living area. It has a very large living/ dining area with a new fully equipped kitchen including an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, DVD, freeview and colour television.
Mallard cottage has 2 bath/shower rooms, electric heating and a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue.
Our delightful cottages and granary barn are situated in our farmyard on the edge of the New Forest. Each of the holiday cottages has a private patio and there is a shared garden next to the River Avon with views over unspoilt New Forest water meadows. The barn has its own garden with panoramic views of the New Forest and Avon Valley.
The cottages have open plan living and dining areas with new fully equipped kitchens and an excellent level of quality is always maintained.

Electricity, duvets and linen are included but not towels. High chairs and cots are available on request. All of the cottages are non smoking.
The Granary Barn, which is a magnificent newly converted period barn with original exposed beams and brickwork, presents an ideal holiday location for large groups of friends & extended families. The granary has achieved 4 stars from VisitBritain which ensures an exceptional overall level of quality throughout.
Once a hunting ground of Kings the New Forest is a superb family holiday destination situated in central southern England. Now home to our self catering cottages and large converted barn it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
A short walk from the cottages is a good pub, a high class restaurant and of course paths through the New Forest. The small town of Fordingbridge is only 1 mile away with lots of shops.
The farm is 230 acres of grassland, meadows and corn and is wonderful for peaceful walks, bird watching and picnics. The suspension bridge viewed from the garden, takes you into water meadows rich in plants and wildlife, along the Avon Valley footpath and into the New Forest. Barn Owls nest in the farmyard and birds regularly seen include Herons, Kingfishers, many birds of prey, Warblers, Water Rails and all types of water fowl and waders.
The cottages are on the banks of the Hampshire Avon, with specimen Barbel, Chub, Roach, Pike and Carp. Fishing tickets available.
The cottages are on the Avon Valley Path on the edge of the New Forest with its wild ponies and common land strewn with wild flowers. There are many foot/cycle paths, excellent horse riding and numerous pubs and restaurants to visit.
There are many attractions within easy reach such as Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, the Owl Sanctuary Ringwood, Beaulieu Abbey, the National Motor Museum, the Royal Navy Museum at Portsmouth - Nelson's Ship Victory and the Mary Rose.
The New Forest Water Park is 3 miles away for water & jet skiing. There are also many beach resorts including Bournemouth and Studland and famous yachting havens such as Lymington. A short walk away is the Tudor Rose pub & the indian restaurant The Surma Valley.
