Wintertime is here but that doesn’t mean fishing or lake time is over. Our area of Norris Lake is beautiful this time of year and our section of the lake is one of the deepest. The fish are still biting so let the fishing continue! Our charming cottage is located in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains on Norris Lake. Our cottage is your perfect place to get away from it all. Breathe in fresh air and enjoy the magnificent views overlooking Norris Lake and the Chuck Swan Wildlife area from your beautiful front deck with a retractable awning, large table and cushioned seating. Our home easily sleeps 6, 2 bedrooms with Queen size beds and a Queen size sleeper sofa, 1 full bathroom with double sinks, a completely furnished kitchen with everything needed for your stay (cookware, coffee maker, microwave, dishware, utensils, spices and basic condiments), washer/dryer, living room with 38” flat screen TV/DVR (Direct TV) and DVD player, a 24” flat screen TV in the bedroom for kids, dining room with seating for 6, a wrap-around porch with Jacuzzi and a full-sized gas grill for those evening grill sessions. Norris Lake offers a variety of exciting fishing from striped bass to catfish. We have plenty of parking to accommodate you and your boat trailer. The rental comes with a covered boat slip. We also have a yard with a 6’ privacy fence…a great place for the kids or adults to play yard games.
Our cottage is located above Flat Hollow Marina and Resort, a full-service marina and restaurant for all your boating and dining needs during your stay. The restaurant closes for the season September 2, 2018. They offer boat rentals, life vests, ski rope & ski’s, tubes, etc. The marina usually has karaoke and/or live bands on Fri & Sat nights during the summer. June 29, 2019 is their 4th of July celebration with fireworks. You have front row seats from your beautiful deck.
Need a break from the lake for a day? A day trip to nearby Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Cades Cove Great Smoky Mountain National Park is approximately 1.5 hours away! Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is approximately 45 minutes away with numerous hiking trails and scenic overlooks for you to enjoy.
