The most superb holiday was had by all four of us. There are wonderful walks, a nice pub, and HungryMan at the harbour is not to missed. Everything you may need is available in the cottage, including staples such as eggs and bread, etc. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to enjoy this lovely property.

Jersey is a fascinating island with a diverse historyy, very different to the UK mainland or indeed France. The Channel Islands are warmed by the Gulf Stream which helps make them the sunniest place in Britain.

The beaches are stunning and are great locations for people watching. There are regular food festivals and the now famous Tennerfest eating event in October/November where over 100 restaurants offer specially reduced menus.

Talking of food we are very lucky with the massive range of restaurants serving lots of local produce as well as fresh fish and different food styles from around the world as well as traditional British Fare. The fish market is a must-see in St Helier and a real experience. A delight if you enjoy cooking and lots of things to put on the barbecue too.

The Channel Islands are the only part of Britain to be occupied during the Second World War and this is well documented at award winning venues throughout the island. You can visit the Ancient Mont Orgueil castle where the atmosphere of times gone past have been recreated. Just 5 minutes walk from us is the Hamptonne Museum that shows farm life in Jersey as it was in the 17th Century. Its so authentic that filming took place here for a famous Hollywood movie (whose name I forget right now: answers on a postcard!)

For the younger ones there is a lively nightlife in St Helier with lots of bars and clubs to dance the night away.

Pretty Rozel Harbour and beach is just 1/2 mile away from this delightful semi-detached granite cottage. Rozel has a choice of two restaurants, a beach cafe and a bar serving meals. There is easy access to the north coast cliff path network from the rear of the property, this enables you to explore the whole of the north coast and the island wide walking network.

The high standard accommodation is well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout.

A granite feature fireplace and beamed ceiling in the lounge adds to the country cottage feel. The sunny garden area has patio with table and chairs. The accommodation comes highly recommended and has many repeat visitors.
