Fantastic!

It would be impossible to find a home more perfect than Castle View. Perfectly situated to tour both the Kerry Way and Dingle peninsula with spectacular mountain and beach views. The home boasts every convenience with more than enough room for larger groups as well as smaller sitting rooms if you want some privacy. The owner Eileen Sheahan could not have been more gracious and helpful offering wonderful suggestions on where to dine locally and in Kilarney. This was our third trip to Ireland and surely the best. We have already recommended the home to others and look forward to returning as soon as we can. Patrick Killian, Philadelphia, Pa

Great House- memorable views

  • 5 of 5

This is an ideal house for a large group- we were 10 and the house could comfortably have accommodated a few more. On arrival, the setting and views over castle and sea have a wow factor. The design of the house plays to the natural beauty of the setting, with the house's generous living and dining space and a number of other rooms all benefiting, as well as the patio dining area. The house is very comfortably equipped and superbly located for day to day life (shops, pubs, restaurants, walks) and for visiting Kerry's many beauty spots (Valencia Island, Skellig, Dingle Peninsula, Gap of Dunloe, Glencar were among those we visited). We really enjoyed our time hear and would love to come back.

Beautiful, peaceful and close to some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland!

  • 5 of 5

Eileen's home is beautiful and perfectly appointed with everything you could need or want. We went out most days, but for one day we just had to hang around at the house and enjoy the rainy weather and cozy couches. Thank you so much, we hope to return someday soon!

Excellent Property, well equipped for a large group, clean and very up-to-date amenities.

We traveled with another couple, spent five days at the home.

It was perfect for us since we spent most of our days touring Ireland from Cork through the Ring of Fire and beyond. Very nice restaurants in the area. Fun times...would do it again.

this is an absolutely wonderfull place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We were a family of fourteen wiith all but two of us visiting Ireland for the first time. This house has been reviewed by many others all with glowing accolades and there is nothing we can add to those compliments. We found them to be all true, and would stay here again if given the opportunity. Everything in the village of Glenbeigh is within easy walking distance, pubs, restaurants, groceries, beaches and hiking trails.

The pictures don't do this lovely home justice!

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Castle View Home for 8 guests. We were all instantly enamoured with the property. It is a lovely home, so well appointed. The beds were so comfortable...the bathrooms perfect...the amenities were all we could have asked for and more. The views are magnificent. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was!!! The town was quaint and welcoming. We were very satisfied with the Centra store/gas station, and an Aldi about 8 miles away. The Tower Pub at the bottom of the hill was inviting and had wonderful food and drink. Horseback riding on Rossbeigh beach was an added treat. The location of Glenbeigh was perfect. We spent a day on the Ring of Kerry, one on the Dingle Peninsula, and one driving to Cork and visiting Blarney Castle and the Blarney Stone. We were able to catch a train from Killarney to do an overnight and Dublin and finished our vacation with a trip to Cliffs of Moher, sadly, cutting our stay in Castle View short by one night. Using the Shannon Airport was only a 2 1/2 hour drive. Thank you so much....we couldn't have found a better location as our base on our first trip to Ireland. Beyond five stars! Clean, beautiful, well done....I should live so well at home! CHEERS!
