Haverstock is a spacious, detached sandstone villa built circa 1900 in the historic Victorian Spa town of Bridge of Allan, recently awarded Best Small Town in Scotland 2010, 2011 and runner-up 2012.

With excellent cooking and dining facilities, modern heating system with continuous hot water, underfloor heating in kitchen and family area, as well as plenty of living space, Haverstock is ideal for family holidays or special celebrations with friends.

Many restaurants, bars and shops within 10 minute walk as well as the train station with direct access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. Stirling City center is 3 miles away, frequent bus and train services.

This is an exceptional place from which to explore Scotland including Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and many of the castles, monuments and attractions of Scotland. You can explore by walking, cycling, car or train.

The property comprises large entrance hall, Sitting room with wood burner, 42 inch plasma TV and DVD player, Dining room with table for 8 and leather seats, downstairs cloakroom, large shower room complete with shower, toilet, modern vanity unit , tiled floor and walls, open plan kitchen with 4 oven Aga, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, wine fridge, dishwasher, island with two bar stools and fridge freezer with water and ice. This leads through to a casual dining area with seating for 8 , bifold doors to garden and Family area with 40 inch smart TV, Bifold doors to garden and underfloor heating. Utility room with washing machine and sink.

Large first floor Drawing Room with views to Stirling Castle, large comfortable sofas and sofa bed. Luxurious main Bathroom with large bath, large walk in drench shower, toilet, tiled floor and walls.

There are 4 bedrooms: Master with Superking bed with Dressing room, Double with kingsize bed and two twin rooms with single beds.

This property can sleep up to 10 people as there is use of a sofa bed in the sitting room.

The large,enclosed private garden with patio areas for outdoor dining is an ideal spot to sit outside and relax with a glass of wine after a hard days' sightseeing..

Daughter's wedding in 2017

We arrived at Haverstock and were very impressed. The house was fantastic and the rooms allowed us to cope with all the family members from both sides. Pity it was Feb and we could' really use the outside space.

A perfect venue for a family get-together

Haverstock was a superb venue for a family get-together for Christmas. It was beautifully decorated with 2 Christmas trees, one in the main lounge and 1 in the dining room. The rooms were large and the house was lovely and warm. The kitchen is really well equipped and perfect for self-catering and for cooking the special Christmas meal. It was very clean. Wonderful! We're already making plans to return.

Excellent accommodation and value for money

Stayed here to celebrate joint 50th birthday as a group of 8 friends/family in November. The house was perfect for our group and we had a brilliant time here. House has real wow factor as soon as you enter the large hall. There is a large modern kitchen and dining area leading straight through to TV/games room with comfy sofas and chairs where we spent most of our time. The house has so much space and was lovely and warm. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Large bathroom with walk in shower upstairs as well as shower room/toilet downstairs and further separate toilet. There is a lovely large lounge on upper floor as well as a formal dining room on ground floor and another TV room with log burner. The house was very easy to book and communication was excellent and although a security deposit is required, this was refunded promptly at the end of our stay. The house is a short 10min walk from the centre of Bridge of Allan which has some nice shops worth a browse as well as some great places to enjoy a drink and/or meal. I would highly recommend Jam Jar restaurant! Bridge of Allan is also a great base from which to tour. I would highly recommend this property.

Highly Recommend!

Our stay at Haverstock was perfect! From the original booking to check-out day - we could not have asked for better service. The staff at Stirling Self Catering were great! We were a party of 6 and were all very impressed with the sheer size of the property and how well looked after it is. We wish we could have stayed longer - Highly recommend!

  • This price is fully inclusive of all heating, electricity,towels, linen and a small welcome pack on arrival. There is a small additional charge of £15 per night for use of sofa bed.

    At end of your stay, the good housekeeping deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.

    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment must be made on booking.

    BY BOOKING AND MAKING PAYMENT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT/CANCELLATION :



    Deposit, security payment and payment



    1. A 50% non refundable deposit has been made by you. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the letting fee before or on the date given above.

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within seven days of receipt of the full payment.

    3. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus a breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has been made. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 2 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.



    Changes to the booking dates



    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.



    Cancellation Charges



    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however good housekeeping deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 50% non refundable deposit made on booking.



    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled weeks, there will only be a £50 administration charge made, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.

  • Damage deposit: GBP500.00
