Haverstock is a spacious, detached sandstone villa built circa 1900 in the historic Victorian Spa town of Bridge of Allan, recently awarded Best Small Town in Scotland 2010, 2011 and runner-up 2012.

With excellent cooking and dining facilities, modern heating system with continuous hot water, underfloor heating in kitchen and family area, as well as plenty of living space, Haverstock is ideal for family holidays or special celebrations with friends.

Many restaurants, bars and shops within 10 minute walk as well as the train station with direct access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. Stirling City center is 3 miles away, frequent bus and train services.

This is an exceptional place from which to explore Scotland including Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and many of the castles, monuments and attractions of Scotland. You can explore by walking, cycling, car or train.

The property comprises large entrance hall, Sitting room with wood burner, 42 inch plasma TV and DVD player, Dining room with table for 8 and leather seats, downstairs cloakroom, large shower room complete with shower, toilet, modern vanity unit , tiled floor and walls, open plan kitchen with 4 oven Aga, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, wine fridge, dishwasher, island with two bar stools and fridge freezer with water and ice. This leads through to a casual dining area with seating for 8 , bifold doors to garden and Family area with 40 inch smart TV, Bifold doors to garden and underfloor heating. Utility room with washing machine and sink.

Large first floor Drawing Room with views to Stirling Castle, large comfortable sofas and sofa bed. Luxurious main Bathroom with large bath, large walk in drench shower, toilet, tiled floor and walls.

There are 4 bedrooms: Master with Superking bed with Dressing room, Double with kingsize bed and two twin rooms with single beds.

This property can sleep up to 10 people as there is use of a sofa bed in the sitting room.

The large,enclosed private garden with patio areas for outdoor dining is an ideal spot to sit outside and relax with a glass of wine after a hard days' sightseeing..

Beautiful Home and Location

The home was gorgeous, set in a beautiful garden. Wonderful furnishings and rooms...very modern kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and seating, TV/wifi. Perfect for our large family group. Also, couldn't have a nicer location for walking into town or the nearby park. Very happy and magical time was had by all.

Ideal for entertaining.

Having recently downsized to a flat we were looking for a venue for a family get-together. Luckily we found Haverstock literally on our doorstep. The suggestion to book this beautiful property for a long weekend was put to all the family. We had a tremendous response from the family "what a great idea"

On arrival at the property on Friday there was great excitement by all members of the family as we explored the house. It certainly exceeded everybody's expectations and there were more than enough bedrooms to choose from.

Over the course of the weekend we all gravitated towards the kitchen and south facing family room with wonderful access to the garden via two sets of bi-folding doors to the rear and the side. This made an ideal entertaining area which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

The formal dining room and upstairs drawing room are very elegant and although we didn't use them on this occasion we can certainly envisage them being used for a great dinner party. All in all, there is something for everybody to enjoy.

We all loved it and would have no hesitation in recommending it to both visitors or, as in our case, to provide additional accommodation that we no longer have since downsizing.

Fabulous House In A Great Location!

Haverstock House is an ideal base for travelling around the Stirling area. It is in a great location and is close to lots of local amenities. Our family had a fantastic holiday, the house is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.

Short stay at Haverstock

This is a beautiful house, it is very spacious and well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped although there is also plenty of restaurants close by if you don't want to cook.

Fabulous Stay!

Fabulous family weekend in beautiful Haverstock. The house is stunning, immaculately clean and very well equipped. I loved the big, spacious kitchen with the Aga and plenty of room for family dining. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather that weekend that we had the double patio doors open all weekend for al fresco dining. We didn't need to use the formal dining room, as stunning as it was. The location was perfect, we enjoyed a walk around Bridge of Alan, which had some nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Near to Stirling and other attractions such as the Bannockburn Experience, Wallace monument and Doune castle. All in all a fantastic house in a great location.

  • This price is fully inclusive of all heating, electricity,towels, linen and a small welcome pack on arrival. There is a small additional charge of £15 per night for use of sofa bed.

    At end of your stay, the good housekeeping deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.

    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment must be made on booking.


    Deposit, security payment and payment

    1. A 50% non refundable deposit has been made by you. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the letting fee before or on the date given above.

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within seven days of receipt of the full payment.

    3. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus a breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has been made. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 2 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.

    Changes to the booking dates

    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.

    Cancellation Charges

    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however good housekeeping deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 50% non refundable deposit made on booking.

    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled dates, all rental monies paid will be refunded minus a 20% administration fee for each portion of nights rebooked, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.

  • Contractual booking deposit: 50.00% rent
  • Damage deposit: GBP500.00
