A quaint London studio vacation rental with high ceilings and plenty of natural light, situated on the ground floor of a historic, period house. Fantastically located two minutes from the extensive transport links and bustle of restaurants, bars and shops of the Earls Court Road. This property is particularly suitable for couples and families.
Living & Eating
The Ivy Lettings team loves this open-plan living and dining area with beautiful period features. Separate fully-equipped kitchen, wooden and tiled flooring and plenty of storage space.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There is one bedroom set within the open-plan style of the studio serviced apartment, with shutters to close it off from the main living area. Sleeping arrangements are a small double bed (4ft wide), with the option of a further single temporary bed and a single sofa bed in the living area. You will find one main bathroom with bath and built-in shower, basin, mirror and toilet.
Access & Suitability
Access is via the ground floor, with a small set of steps at the front of the building. Once inside the rooms are arranged across one level.
On Your Doorstep
A two minute walk from Earls Court tube station providing fast and excellent access to the rest of London with multiple tube lines departing from here. In the morning, you'll see lots of well dressed West Londoners on their way to work, as this is a very popular area for the English to live - very close to South Kensington and with homes that are much better value than the very central locations. It's a very practicaly place to stay, with plenty of local amenities including several ATMs, grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants. Top secret - there's also a really wonderful and not very well known museum called the Mosaic Rooms, with fabulous exhibitions on Middle Eastern art.
There are several supermarkets including a Sainsbury's and a Marks & Spencer's. The Ivy Lettings team's favourite place to have breakfast on Earl's Court road is the fabulous and celebrated Maroush bakery, with fresh bread, excellent coffee and exquisite pastries.
For drinks, the Ivy Lettings team highly recommends Ashbee's Wine Bar, a very good value wine cellar run by the wonderful Elizabetta.
Slightly further afield you come to the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre that hosts some of the most diverse events and conferences in London.

The location could not have been better - less than a block to the tube (Embankment) to Trafalgar Square, to the Strand where there are all kinds of busses. Oyster Pass was a great saving. Restaurants on Villiers St., parallel to Craven have great restaurants reasonable priced with an ambience simialr to Paris. A real find in London.
I would stay here again - the flat had everything you need and so close to the Earls Court Station, grocery stores, places to eat and Starbucks. Absolutely lovely and they were so helpful with their information and support before, during and after our stay! Highly recommend the location.
We are a family of 4 with children aged 11 & 9. We had a wonderful stay and the apartment was outstanding. It was greatly appreciated that everything was thought of in the apartment. It is obvious that the owners have actually stayed in the apartment as so many little things that you don’t think of were available, including the instructions on how to use the appliances & dispose of the rubbish, hooks on the back of the bathroom door, plenty of hangers, a drying rack, crockery and cutlery, etc. We were even able to make pancakes on Christmas morning (our Christmas tradition). The heating was extremely effective (which was greatly appreciated, coming from Northern Australia). The bed and sofa beds were all comfortable and the shower hot! The location is perfect, just down the road from the tube station and close to Sainsbury's as well as plenty of pubs and places to have dinner. We would recommend the apartment to anyone and look forward to staying here again.
Good situation, nice flat (all you need for a short stay is in) and nice attendance.
The description of the apartment is accurate, but once you're in it looks even more comfortable than in the pictures. Fully equipped, quiet, inviting and clean, it offers everything you need for a short stay in London. The location is ideal, very close to the tube, the bus stops, resaurants and shops. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a nice and convenient accomodation and I will surely choose it again next time I visit London.
Kensington is frequently associated with the city's best dressed and well-heeled. As such, it is no surprise that it is notable in particular for its main commercial artery, Kensington High Street, home of the Whole Foods Market flagship store and a vast selection of affordable brand names. Moving westwards takes you to Shepherd’s Bush, home of the behemoth Westfield shopping centre, the largest urban mall in Europe. Alighting at the South Kensington tube stop, you begin to understand the area’s reputation as the city’s heart of high-brow culture. Right next to the station you will find a tightly knit (and well signposted) corridor of museums and galleries, all of which date from the 1851 Great Exhibition, whose profits Prince Albert used to regenerate the area. This includes the V&A, Science and Natural History Museums, as well as the Royal Albert Hall. The beauty of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park adds weight to London's title of most verdant city of its size in the world.
