We loved this house and plan to return :-)
This is the quintessential Cape house. The owners have been meticulous in maintaining the historical flair of this property (ca. 1795). This house has more of a cozy feel than the open floor plans of modern homes. We enjoyed the gardens, especially the honeysuckle and roses.
Six of us enjoyed many rounds of croquet in the large backyard. We especially loved hearing the peepers each night.
I urge potential renters to visit this house. The photos do not do it justice.
Most Charming Antique Cape Cod Home
There were 10 of us staying at this beautiful house on the Cape and we had more than enough room. When we first arrived we actually had to walk through the house several times to get our bearings because there was so much to see! It is so beautiful and the photographs really don't do it justice. It is very well maintained, beautifully decorated and has all the amenities of a modern home. It was an easy walk to Nauset Beach - we made the walk at least twice a day. And the outside shower was spacious, clean and wonderful!
The owners were very gracious - the whole rental process was so easy, and the unexpected bottle of wine and lovely note were such a nice surprise! My kids loved the house so much that they said they wanted to live there! We will most definitely be back!
Incredible Vacation on the Cape!
We had an excellent stay at the home! It was an easy walk to Nauset Beach and close to all the amenities in Orleans. We did end up getting a beach parking pass to help get young children in our group to/from the beach, but that was relatively inexpensive and easy to obtain. There was more than enough room for our extended family to spread out. We especially loved the deck and yard. The house had some great bonus features as well: an overflow fridge in the garage, lots of fans, and washer/dryer. The owners were great, we were greeted with a nice note and bottle of wine, which was such a nice surprise...especially after our long day of travel. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to explore the outer cape! We are already talking about hopefully booking the house for next year!
Excellent accommodations! Beautiful home!
My family and I had a wonderful vacation at 121 Beach Road. The owners were so hospitable! The spacious backyard was a home run!
Thank you for the bottle of wine too!
Lovely and spacious home, close to everything!
This sweet, spacious, antique Cape home has been nicely updated and furnished with a lovely well-appointed kitchen, nicely renovated baths, and a wonderful large deck. It is set back from the road, so it is very quiet. The location is perfect for just about anything you'd want to do on the Cape, from swimming at Nauset Beach (just down the road) to launching off to Provincetown. We were a group of 6 older women artists here on a painting retreat, and the house was perfect for us. Only one minor issue that would not be an issue with kids, but it was with adults: you have to walk through one of the two single bedrooms to get to the hall and bathroom. Other than that, it was great.
Perfect house for a family vacation
We have spent many enjoyable summer vacations at this house with three generations of family – a wonderful spot! The house has a unique Old Cape charm with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The owners have been great about adding amenities over the years to meet the needs of a family vacation spot. The large deck overlooks a beautiful back yard. The location is fantastic – within walking distance to Nauset Beach.
