|Minimum Stay||5 nights|
Booking was made easy by prompt and efficient communication. Arrival information was very detailed and we had no problems finding the property. We were met on arrival and shown everything we needed to know. It was very all clean and well prepared and the facilities ideal for us. Everything we needed had been thought of and we particularly appreciated having the extra blankets and duvets for the cold winter nights. The location of the casa suited us well - quiet and rural with great views, yet just a few minutes walk into town for shopping and restaurants. I'm sure the uphill return walk was good for us after a big meal... We found plenty to see and do on the Island. We went to the beautiful, unspoilt towns of Los Llanos El Paso and enjoyed their relaxing environments, and had lots of very tasty, healthy food. Our hire car enabled us to explore the heights of La Caldera and we swam and relaxed on the beaches at Puerto Tazacorte and Puerto Naos. We even had a go at Paragliding here and would highly recommend this if finances allow. The weather during our December stay was mostly sunny with temperatures well into the 20's - perfect for escaping the English gloom. All in all, a great holiday - many thanks Angel.
The house was very clean and well presented with all facilities bathrooms,, kitchen, dining and sitting area large enough to make the stay comfortable for 4 adults. The bedroom on the landing was very good, without it being closed in, would have been fine for teenagers and 6 people may have pushed the inside facilities. Although in summer you would be outside most of the time so may not be such an issue.
Being on the sunny side of the Island and the fact that the property is on two levels the sun set can be viewed, whilst taking a BBQ on the top level, the fact that there was a covered area, also protected you from the wind we had two BBQs even in Feb which was fantastic.
The only thing I think that needs to be done is to document where the Super markets are and may be some reports on restaurants. We went to both of your recommendations the Italian and the Restaurant 7 they were both very good, and watching the sunset at 7 was wonderful. May be some brochures of the local park, walking maps and walking books of the island, and festivals. We left a few comments and bits of information in the book.
We happened on Los Indianos and were covered from head to toe in talc a great day out, and did several walks although not being built like a mountain goat was a little issue. Some people may want to know local taxi companies to do some of the walks or bus routes etc.
We ALL really enjoyed the stay and would recommend the property to friend, and were really surprise with La Palma varied climate from East wet and over cast to West sunny areas and Geography change from North tropical forests to south lunar land scape.
We really enjoyed to stay at this house:
- Enough space for seven (we got an extra bed)
- Perfect location just outside the town Los Llanos
- A pool area overlooking the town and sea, with grill area under roof and irrigated lawn
- Two bathrooms with bath tube, two showers and beautiful tiles
- A pool with clean water (but cold in january)
- Dishwasher, freezer, Internet, AC, heater
The only thing we missed was a lamp over the eating table.
15 mins uphill (not too steep) from town with lots of lovely restaurants and shops. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped. Lots of choice for outdoor sitting. Suitable for 4 adults with 2 older children on the mezzanine
We spent wonderfull holidays thanks to this House! All was perfect: a Private pool, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms... Thanks to Angel, and Maria to answer all we need! A must!!
Muchas gracias
