Modern fresh holiday home in the centre of Salcombe sleeps 8.

The house is very private. It benefits from one of the best views in Salcombe overlooking Whitestrand Quay and on towards South Pool in the distance. It has parking for one car.

Lakeside is situated above the church right in the centre of Salcombe. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac off Onslow Road with no passing traffic.

Lakeside is a modern house and originally designed as a holiday home. In early 2000 it was extended to take advantage of the wonderful view. It was converted to include two new bedrooms and a large open plan living area that has hosted some wonderful family holidays, not only in the summer, but throughout the year.

The house is fully equipped with all mod cons. It sleeps 8 comfortably all in single beds. There is one large double room and three twin rooms with one bunk room with adult size beds with lots of head room. One bathroom with bath and shower and large airing cupboard. One shower room and another separate loo.

As anticipated we had a great holiday, we were lucky with the weather too and had some great days on the beach. The house was great as expected and the changes from last year were good, we enjoyed our morning tea from the new mugs!

You have a fantastic house with an amazing view of the harbour, it's well set up with everything you could want while on holiday.

A modern comfortable spacious house, well equipped and tastefully furnished.

The stunning view more than compensated for the very few minor faults in the accommodation. The house is exceptionally well equipped and comfortable and all the appliances worked well. There was plenty of information about the appliances etc. and also about the local area.

The house does sleep 8 comfortably but I would reccommend that, in that instance, no more than 4 of them be adults.

Parking for a second car could be an isssue but that is made clear in the description of the property.

This is a reasonably priced property and for that reason, the 5 of us were quite happy.

Fantastic Week in Sunny Salcombe

Enjoyed our stay in Lakeside, the house was ideally located, just a short walk into town.

The accommodation was very clean and well presented. The view from the rear bedroom, lounge and patio area is worth the rental fee alone, you can just sit there all day and watch the coming's and going's on Whitestrand Quay and the estuary. All in all, just a great place to spend your holidays.

Lovely house with great view.

9 Lakeside is a lovely and comfortable place to stay. Beautifully decorated with a sea theme and lovely pictures and sea charts on the walls. Everything you could possibly need is supplied including good local maps for walking. books, games, DVDs (Invictus is brilliant!), buckets and spades... We were lucky enough to have amazing warm weather and I really enjoyed breakfast on the balcony in September. To have a parking place at the house in Salcombe is a big bonus. The only downside is the steep walk down to the town but we could have driven and parked in the Shadeycombe or Batson carparks which had plenty of room. The shortcut to Spar (Post Office) was really handy.

We loved our ferry trips. There is a good walk around Batson Creek and Snapes Point with a bench on a hill with a wonderful view about halfway round. We went to Gara Rock twice as it was such a good lunch and particularly liked the shorter walk up there past the amazing ancient Lime Trees. I paddled from Mill Bay along the foreshore. We had delicious baguettes made to order in a tiny shop in Clifton Place near the end on the right. and a lot of icecreams!

Great place to stay for a reunion

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks in June and we had some family members and friends stay with us for part of that time. Some nights we had 8 adults staying overnight and on one night we had 10 people for dinner. The property was very well equipped so we were all comfortable and cooking for a large group was easily accomplished. The view from the living room was as good as the picture with the added benefit it would subtly change during the day due to the weather and the direction of the sun. Belle was very helpful and pleasant to deal with and I highly recommend Lakeside as a property to anyone wanting to stay in Salcombe.

Lakeside has one of the best views in Salcombe, overlooking Whitestrand Quay and the harbour beyond. The house is very private and sleeps 8 comfortably in four bedrooms. The master bedroom has one king sized bed and overlooks the Salcombe harbour, there is a further twin room on the same floor, with one family bathroom with bath and shower. On the ground floor is another twin overlooking the garden and a bunk room with brand new made to measure adult size beds. Shower room and separate loo with washing machine are also on this floor. The house is modern and has been designed as a perfect base for your holiday. One side of the house comprises of the accommodation and bathrooms while the other is a large open plan living and eating area opening out onto a deck overlooking a large paved garden with the fabulous view, we call it Harbour TV. The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with nobody walking past your windows right in the centre and only a 2 minute walk to Fore Street, the centre of Salcombe. The house has all mod cons, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine etc., Denon music system, Wifi, SmartTV, video plus a large selection of buckets and spades to fully enjoy your holiday.

If you cancel two months prior this deposit is non-refundable. We would also require a £200 damage deposit. Full payment is required one month before arrival. The price does include the cost of the final clean. Linen can be provided at £5/bed and £5 per load. NO PETS. NO SMOKERS
