Modern fresh holiday home in the centre of Salcombe sleeps 8.
The house is very private. It benefits from one of the best views in Salcombe overlooking Whitestrand Quay and on towards South Pool in the distance. It has parking for one car.
Lakeside is situated above the church right in the centre of Salcombe. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac off Onslow Road with no passing traffic.
Lakeside is a modern house and originally designed as a holiday home. In early 2000 it was extended to take advantage of the wonderful view. It was converted to include two new bedrooms and a large open plan living area that has hosted some wonderful family holidays, not only in the summer, but throughout the year.
The house is fully equipped with all mod cons. It sleeps 8 comfortably all in single beds. There is one large double room and three twin rooms with one bunk room with adult size beds with lots of head room. One bathroom with bath and shower and large airing cupboard. One shower room and another separate loo.

We visited Salcombe in September.House we all stayed in is amazing and view is breathtaking.Weather was great so we did lots of walking,eating and exploring.Would highly recommend and will definitely return!We had a great time.Katerina
A perfect laid out property with great views
We had a lovely two weeks and the property and view was perfect. Very relaxing just what we both needed and close to all amenities, yet peaceful. The property met all our expectations and is better than the photos.

Great house with an outstanding view
Another great holiday in this lovely house. We have stayed here a few times and it just feels like home from home, the house has everything you need plus a few extras.
The location is perfect for us, a little way out of town which makes it very quiet and the views from the balcony are amazing.
We'll definitely be going back again next year.
Stunning location and great views as long as you like a little climb up the hills in Salcombe. Little damp on lower ground floor. Parking and recycling are an issue.
Thank you for your review. As we mentioned to you there is only parking for one car. Parking is difficult in Salcombe in the summer months if you have a second car. We have never had a problem before. I am not clear what the problem was with the recycling, the rubbish is collected twice a week. With regards to the damp, we have just arrived and found that the downstairs shower is leaking and is currently being mended, I apologise if this was an inconvenience.
Sadly to achieve a view like we have there is usually a hill!

Perfect house with lovely views over Salcombe
Ideal for our party of 4 adults and 2 small children. Excellent outdoor space for a summer evening BBQ and accommodation over 2 levels makes it ideal for 2 small families. The house is equipped with everything you could need.
If bringing a second car (as we had to) one will have to be parked up the hill on one of the residential roads behind. The cut-through route suggested in the house guide up the steps behind the house and through the tennis club to this residential area could do with a bit of cutting back to make this route viable.
All in all a fantastic place to stay.
Lakeside has one of the best views in Salcombe, overlooking Whitestrand Quay and the harbour beyond. The house is very private and sleeps 8 comfortably in four bedrooms. The master bedroom has one king sized bed and overlooks the Salcombe harbour, there is a further twin room on the same floor, with one family bathroom with bath and shower. On the ground floor is another twin overlooking the garden and a bunk room with brand new made to measure adult size beds. Shower room and separate loo with washing machine are also on this floor. The house is modern and has been designed as a perfect base for your holiday. One side of the house comprises of the accommodation and bathrooms while the other is a large open plan living and eating area opening out onto a deck overlooking a large paved garden with the fabulous view, we call it Harbour TV. The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with nobody walking past your windows right in the centre and only a 2 minute walk to Fore Street, the centre of Salcombe. The house has all mod cons, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine etc., Denon music system, Wifi, SmartTV, video plus a large selection of buckets and spades to fully enjoy your holiday.

We would require a 30% security deposit on booking to reserve your enquiry. This is fully refundable until two months before the booking. If you cancel two months prior this deposit is non-refundable. We would also require a £200 damage deposit. Full payment is required one month before arrival. The price does include the cost of the final clean and all linen. NO PETS. NO SMOKERS
