LARGE VILLA CAN BE BOOKED AS 4 BEDROOMS OR SEPARATELY WITH 2 BEDROOMS. DISCOUNT BETWEEN MAY AND OCTOBER IF USING ONLY ONE BEDROOM (2 PERSONS).

The villa is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown, in the heart of Barbados' west coast. The villa is only a 4 minute walk to Settlers beach; also within walking distance is the very up scale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high end retailers, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema.

This lovely semi detached villa sleeps up to 4 adults and a child, 5 in total.

The 2 beds are 7 feet wide, but can be separated into large twin beds.

There are 2 villas with a shared pool, and separate entrances.

Well equipped, with Satellite TV , together with a multi regional DVD player, also wi-fi and local telephone. The kitchen and breakfast bar are fully equipped for modern living.

The 2 bedrooms have air conditioning and fans, en suite bathrooms with a walk-in wardrobe, safe and a large balcony.

For location and value for money this villa offers high standards at an affordable price.

Excessive use of electricity is chargeable. There is an average electricity allowance of 15 units per day when using only one bedroom and 20 units per day when using 2 bedrooms. A/C and fans should be used economically.

During the low season May - October it is possible to book one bedroom for a reduced rate, £600 per week, 2 bedrooms is £750.

Prices listed during low season May to October are for One Bedroom and One Bathroom and accommodate 2 persons only!

and a flat screen tv. The screens kept out any unwelcome insects.



Everything we needed was provided for and the owners were very helpful.



We would recommend the villa to any one staying in Holetown.

spacious and quiet

My girlfriend and I rented this property for the last two weeks in April. The weather was hot and humid with a little rain. Probably fairly normal for the time of year.

I have taken time to write a fairly full review as there don’t seem to be any others at the moment.

We rented the front half (left side) of the property – ie 2 bedrooms. As advertised the back half (right side ) was closed off.

The whole property is quite imposing. It is generally well furnished and maintained and cleaned.

It sits in a very quiet residential lane cul de sac. There is little traffic – an occasional van or truck to a small business at the end of the lane. I think a plant nursery. There are occasional pedestrians. They are screened by the 5ft front wall.

There is some noise from neighbours dogs. There is a school about 200 metres away – you may just hear the children at break.

There is a villa on the left ( viewed from the property) which is for holiday lets and a local residential property on the right. Both are well screened by fencing , shrubs and trees. Directly across the road is a semi maintained area of grass shrubs and trees May be a future build plot. Diagonally across the lane to the left is a property which was not occupied while we were there – but well maintained.

In summary this is a quiet and private location.

It is approx. 300 metres pleasant walk to the main coast road.

Turn left on the coast road and it is approx. 100 metres to the stunning Limegrove shopping centre and 1st and 2nd street. Further couple of hundred metres to Masseys supermarket.

The nearest access point to the beach is via the Discovery Bay Hotel. This is advertised on Home and Away details for residents of Jamestown Park. However we were not permitted through the grounds – but taken by the security guard to a gate path between the hotel and the creek. This is very unpleasant as basically it crosses over all the hotel septic tanks.

We asked about using the hotel facilities. There is a charge of 200 Barbados dollars a day to use the pool , beds and includes lunch. It didn’t seem as they wanted non residents.

The area of beach immediately in front of the Discovery Bay was extremely smelly ( septic tanks or mangrove swamp – take your pick ?) on the first day we visited – but not bad on other days.

50 metres along the road to the right (north) of Discovery Bay there is informal access to the beach past the Art studios. The beaches are quite small coves and generally involve wadin

great place to be when you are on vacation

We found this villa to be very clean and well equipped with everything one needs for a family vacation. The only thing that was missing or perhaps we just didn't find it was a coffemaker but then coffee shop is just few minutes walking from and is a joyfull stroll in the morning. Two lovely ladies Agnes and Rosie met my family at arrival to show us around and answer all questions we had. Local beach is just a few minutes walking from the villa and few more beaches are 5-15 minutes drive or bus ride. Great restaurants 9free standing or part of hotels), shopping mall, supermarket and other boutiques - are all walking distance from the villa. If a family is looking for an easy lunch in the area- Just grilling restaurant is the place to be. Lovely, though slightly more expensive meals are at The Beach House and Lone Star restaurants. Both are great for a relaxing dinner. Though not so near the villa, but cave exploration and wildlife reserve are a great activity. And of course "jamming cats" catamaran sea excursion is a must. All island activities leave one tired and it was great to return to your own villa to relax in the pool area. I would definetely recommnd this place to anybody lookingt to rent a house in Barbados.
