This fabulously furnished second floor unit has a spacious lanai overlooking the King's Shopping Center, Kings Lake and the 4th fairway of the world class Waikoloa Beach Golf Course. Views from the lanai are breathtaking, and extend from Mt. Hualalai to the golf course and lake. There's nothing more beautiful than watching the magnificent panoramic Hawaiian sunsets from your lanai.
This condo is exquisitely furnished and provides virtually everything you need to make your stay effortlessly enjoyable. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with stainless appliances, cherry wood cabinets, and granite countertops. All small appliances, pots and pans, dishware and cookware are included with even a coffee grinder. Our separate dining area is a delightful place for dining when you just don’t care to dine elsewhere. Three additional barstools add plenty of additional space at the kitchen counter or eat on the Lanai at our table for four! All bed linens are hotel quality. We're also proud of our selection of bath towels and beach towels. The master bedroom suite with its king-sized bed is large and beautifully appointed. The spacious master bath has a shower, a separate king size tub, double sinks and a walk-in closet to meet all your storage needs. The guest bedroom also has a king bed (which can be changed to two twin beds upon request). The second full bath allows additional guests to feel fully at home. All furnishings are high-end Tommy Bahama style. Contemporary local artwork and craft pieces adorn the unit. (Just for fun, tell us your favorite piece).
For Home Entertainment – we have big news! We have converted our 3 TVs to a digital channel lineup. This change will give you more channels to see – many of which are HD. We have a DVR in the Master Bedroom which allows you to record that sporting event or TV series you thought you were going to miss. It also allows On-Demand selections of movies and other programming. We have a 42” Vizio wall mounted LCD TV in the Master Bedroom to use with this new DVR. In the Living Room, we have a 46” Sony Bravia LED Edge Lit HDTV and a Toshiba Blu-ray Player. The Master Bedroom and Living Room TVs are Wi-Fi connected so you can or stream your own videos or movies if you have a Netflix (or similar) account. In the guest bedroom we have a wall mounted 32' Panasonic LCD TV with a Toshiba DVD player. Of course our secure W-Fi service is included. So bring your laptop or mobile device to stay connected while you are on vacation. We have an iPod dock in the living room. So go ahead and listen to your favorite Hawaiian music while enjoying a Mai-Tai on the lanai. That is probably what you are really looking forward to enjoying!
We try to take the hassle out of vacationing by furnishing soaps and paper products that you normally need. We also have beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, ice chests, and a collection of fins and masks for snorkeling. (however, bringing your own snorkel gear or buy an inexpensive set at Costco. That is also a good option). Our reserved parking place is close by and the elevator will definitely come in handy, especially to move your groceries and bags into our unit. The land-line phones can be used to call anywhere in Hawaii, the mainland USA or Canada without charge.
Shopping and Eating out? The King's Shops and Queen's Shops are fun places to walk to -- just a few minutes away. The Queen's Shops even has a food court hidden in the back corner if you are in a hurry. Of course there's 'High End' shopping (how many times have you visited a furniture store stocked entirely with koa wood?) and a dozen restaurants of every variety.
You will find yourself just minutes from fabulous entertainment and excitement for everyone. The Marriott Hotel and the Hilton Hotel provide luxury dining, luaus, and spa facilities. Visiting the Hilton's spectacular Dolphin Pool, the fabulous grounds and art displays are a must. The beach at Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-Bay) with it’s authentic “Old Hawaiian” feel provides snorkeling, sunbathing, and water sport activities. But most important – you must try a new restaurant and bar – Lava – Lava Beach Club right on the sand there at A-Bay. It's a 2-minute drive. Five other top notch beaches are 10 - 15 minutes away. These beaches are the best on the Big Island. All of them are great for snorkeling along the reefs at the water’s edge. Of course, the many fabulous golf courses nearby provide the ultimate golfing experience. Feeling adventurous? Try a Manta Ray night dive – The Big Island is one of the best places in the world to experience manta rays face to face underwater. We also recommend you read 'The Big Island Revealed' by Andrew Doughty, 7th edition as the best guide for vacationing on The Big Island. We keep a copy in our condo for your convenience.

We bought this condo because of the lake view and the easy walk to shopping and entertainment. We also like to walk to the A-Bay beach which is a pleasant 13 minute walk from our condo. We think the Big Island has the best snorkeling of all the islands. The Kohala Beaches are the best: Mauna Kea, Hapuna Beach, Waialea Beach, and Anaehoomalu Bay are all within five miles of our condo.
We love the view of the lake and King Shops from our second floor lanai and the infinity edge pool.
This was our first trip to the Big Island. The condo is in an ideal location for those who do not want to be in the busy city of Kailua-Kona. The condo is exactly as shown in the photos. Very comfortable and cozy and very quiet at night(and even during the day). The condo is within a short walk to both the Kings Shops and the Queens Marketplace. You can hear the music from the free shows at the Kings Shops while sitting on the lanai (don't worry, it isn't loud and it is finished by 9 PM). Some of the best beaches on the island are within a 15 minute drive from the condo. Our personal favourite is the beach at Mauna Kea and if you have little ones, I would highly recommend it as the shoreline is shallow and the surf was nearly non-existent. You just have to get there early as only so many car are allowed into the free parking lot for the beach.
Nick and Anna were excellent to deal with. I can see why their condo is booked most of the time. They quickly responded to any questions, even the ones not related to the condo itself! They provided excellent information on what to do and see. Their onsite management was easy to reach and quickly had the broken hot water heater fixed the same day we reported it. Nick also followed up by email the following day to ensure it had been repaired.
I highly recommend heading to the Hilton to see the entire property. It is beautiful. But expect to take at least 1/2 day to see it all, and the best part is, its free! We enjoyed a nice romantic evening out at the Three Fat Pigs restaurant in the Kings Shops. The staff was excellent, service was great and the food was incredible. I highly recommend the manta ray night snorkel trip if you don't mind being in the water at night. It was an amazing experience and I something I will never forget. Also a trip to the volcano is a must. The first time we went, it was pouring rain but the stem vents were performing, however you couldn't see the crater. The 2nd time we went, it was clear and the steam vents were non existent and the crater was amazing. If you are an avid golfer, this is the ideal location being right on a golf course. So bring your clubs!
When we return to the Big Island, we will definitely rent this condo again if it is available. Guess we will just have to plan way ahead!
This was our second trip to Hawaii and first to the Big Island. Nick and Anna have perfected their process and we were taken care of in every detail. From reservation to checkout everything was excellent. There was more than enough kitchenware, towels, blankets, pillows, soap, coolers, chairs etc. We did end up buying and leaving another umbrella so help yourself! We spent most mornings walking to the Hilton to get our latte' at their coffee shop (open to the public) and then sat and enjoyed watching the dolphins swim, as well as sharks and sea turtles in their bay. (also open to the public you just cannot swim unless you are a guest) We had every comfort of home in this unit and then some, as well as, being positioned nicely on the island to drive to Kona or Hilo. We actually drove the entire island during our two week stay and enjoyed fireworks right off the balcony on the 4th! (best seats around) There were trails in every direction from the the unit taking us to the beach, petroglyphs or shopping and tons of places to eat if you wanted. We did prefer to eat in Kona where the prices were not as high as the resort area and highly suggest the Kona Brewing Company in Kona, which was our favorite place to eat. The Costco is also a short drive and the well stocked kitchen made it a breeze to prepare meals. We loved this unit and will certainly visit again on our next trip to the Big Island. This was our first trip to Hawaii. Living on the east coast of the USA, it was a loooong flight, but oh my, it was absolutely worth it! This condo is perfectly located for beaches and shopping. It is also about a 20 minute drive from the Kona airport. The lanai looks out on the golf course and a pretty lake. We ate there for many of our meals. There are nice gas grills on the property that allowed us to cook out several times. The home is exquisitely decorated and has every amenity you could think of. It is very clean and the resort is well maintained. We felt very safe in this gated community. The owners are nice to work with and most accommodating to our needs. We will remember our time here as a vacation of a life-time! Thank you!
We found this condo to be fully equipped with everything you would need for a great vacation. The location was perfect with a view of the lake and the Kings Market Place. We would recommend this condo to anyone. The Fairway Villas are a beautiful property. We have already planned another vacation at this condo. This condo is one of the best we have every stayed in on the Big Island.
We stayed at this condo for two weeks, it was fully equipped with everything you would need for a great vacation. The location in Fairway Villas was very nice, the view of the lake in front of the Kings Market Place was excellent. The owners were very easy to deal with and they have great taste in decorating their condo.
We will return for another vacation in this condo. It was great! We would recommend this place as one of the best we have rented in Hawaii.
We stayed her with our daughter and her husband while exploring the Big Island. This place is all it reports to be and more. The location is excellent and the resort area beautiful. Queen's Market Place and the King's Shops are a short walk away and have a great variety of stores, and often have free evening shows. We enjoyed a couple of these and they were excellently done. The Petroglyphs are adjacent to the complex and very interesting for those who like history and culture like myself, and a walk around the Hilton is breath taking. The art work, the dolphins, the flamingos etc. are incredible there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the Condo was a major part of the enjoyment. It had everything we needed. Mahalo
