Paddington Apartment Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 15 minutes to the West End

Live like a Londoner. The flat has its own entrance as originally it was a corner shop.

The open plan living/dining/kitchen is at ground level with a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, if you wish. It has an oven, microwave, gas hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. There are two stools for eating at a counter.

A few steps down to the two bedrooms and shower room (with toilet and basin) and en suite bathroom (Shower over tub, basin, toilet and bidet).

The master bedroom, with en suite, can be arranged as a King bed (6ft wide) or as two extra long twin beds. It opens onto a small patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a evening drink. Smoking is allowed on the patio.

The other bedroom has a Queen bed (5 1/2 ft wide bed).

The living room has two sofas, one of which has a small double sofa bed.

The dining room seats 6.

The entire flat is about 900 ft 2 (80 square meters).

This is a non-smoking, non-pet flat.

We provide some items for your arrival but you will probably have to get more, especially for stays of more than a few days. Items include shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, tea, coffee, oil & vinegar.

We have a crib and high chair for use at no charge, upon request. Due to the nature of the decoration, the flat is okay for 2-5 year olds only if they are well behaved. It'll save you from constantly running after them.

Why Joel Schweitzer chose Westminster & West End

The flat used to be a corner shop. It still has the stained glass windows with farm scenes. As I grew up on a dairy farm there was some resonance for me.

I was looking for a project and this house had to be completely redone. I have enjoyed doing it up, while learning the history of the area and the type of construction typical to London in the mid-19th century.

What makes this apartment unique

You'll like the location as it is central to the best parts of London. The area is quiet and residential but close to shops and restaurants.

We hope you, like other guests, will feel very comfortable in a flat that is like a home, much more than a rental flat or a hotel room.

We LOVED this flat! It was exactly as pictured and described in all previous photos and reviews. Perfect for 2 couples with a busy London sightseeing schedule. It's a very quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to Paddington Station (train and tube). We were so busy that we didn't get to spend much time here - our only regret! And our hosts - Joel and Nacho were WONDERFUL! Friendly, helpful, available and FUN! I will return to this flat in a heartbeat the next time we visit London. And I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to visit London and have a clean, quiet place to come "home" to at night.

Great Home Base

Stayed at Joel's place for 8 nights, it was wonderful. Great communication, Nacho greeted us upon arrival and explained the workings of the Flat to us. A wonderful layout, the bedrooms are down a few steps from the living room so you feel you have some extra space. All the furnishings were in excellent condition, no rips or tears on couches, etc.

5 minute walk to the tube and same for Sainsbury market across from Nuffield gym, you can find everything for your stay. We did a bicycle tour which was relaxing and fun. Take the boat down the canal to Camden market, great food spots and stores.

Excellent apartment!

We were a family of four. We stayed for a week in the apartment and enjoyed it very much. The owner, Joel, was very helpful to meet all our needs before our arrival, and helped us in our early arrival.

The listing description of the apartment was accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. The property was clean, well-maintained, including the WI-FI, hitting and hot water.

The apartment is 5-8 minute walk from Edgware Road tube station and Paddington station. Bus stations are even nearer. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.

The owner and his partner, Nacho, provided a very good and friendly customer service, and were willing to assist us in every request we had.

We certainly recommend this property for a stay of 4-5 people, since the apartment is a large one.

Lovely London Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Joel's flat. We were warmly welcomed by his partner, Nacho, and given all of the necessary house info. Joel went above and beyond by bringing a birthday cake for our youngest and sending on a beloved stuffed animal left behind. The flat itself is great. Plenty of room, well-equipped with all of the amenities. The location is perfect - easy walk to Paddington and Edgware Rd for transport, but also good base to explore London sites on foot like Kensington Gardens, Baker Street and Portobello Rd. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to explore London and beyond

We loved our week at this great flat. Super convenient to train into central London and great for national rail service connections. Fun neighborhood to explore with Little Venice at your door step and plenty of area restaurants and shops. Flat is clean, well appointed and comfortable. We would love to come back in the future.

Paddington pad comfy and convenient

Joel and Nacho's ground floor flat in Paddington (Little Venice) is a perfect place to base yourself for your London exploration as our family (Mum, Dad and two young adult sons) did this northern winter just been. A short walk from Paddington Station means London's excellent underground is super handy along with a range of restaurants, Sainsbury's grocery stores, Edgware Road and motorways. The flat is well appointed, warm and secure, with bedding for five, two bathrooms and ample entertainment via TV (with cable) and stereo to while away the time you're not touring.

Highly recommended and a no-brainer for a return trip to London.

Perfection in Paddington

I have rented apatments in London before, but this was by far the best.

The flat is even more attractive than depicted, with spacious high ceilinged rooms with lots of light and comfortable, tasteful furniture. All TV tastes are fully catered for if one has time to relax in the evenings, when eating in is easy with a kitchen supplied with modern appliances.

Bathrooms are great and the showers have a decent pressure, something unusual in many London apartments.

We were there when it was quite cold, but the heating was excellent and very easy to control.

The location is perfect, with 3 tube stations very close by: Paddindton, Edgeware Road and Warwick Avenue. It is situated in a quiet location with a separate street entrance so privacy is ensured. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by.

An early morning run to Regents Park along the canal (around the corner) is a great way to get some excercise.

And just to top it all, Joel and Nacho are wonderful hosts and very helpful. We loved it.
