Beautiful cove

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at the Cove a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful vacation. Tom and Patti were very gracious in greeting us and even took us for a spin around the lake on their boat so we could become acquainted with the area. Their home is lovely, tastefully appointed and is situated in a cove that provides privacy and is replete with many water toys and boats for use by guests. It's a little slice of heaven!! The area has several wonderful restaurants. My teenage children had a great time paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing on the lake. Even our dog got into having fun in the water. Patti suggested an awesome spot to explore and my kids had a blast. So if you're looking for a beautiful lakefront property where you can experience the call of the loons, ducks waddling onto the shore, fishing, boating and exploring, then we highly recommend this home.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in this home. Very clean and perfect for a family of four. The location on the lake can't be beat with great boating and fishing. The house is close to town and other activities. Our dog Lucy loved it too.

Very comfortable, clean and pet friendly!

  • 5 of 5

What a fun place to stay! My family, with two little kids and a dog enjoyed a great week here in July. The place is as it seems in photos (feels even larger in person!). We loved the boats, paddleboard, etc, fishing from the dock and watching all the wildlife by the lake. Some enjoyed the downhill mountain biking available at the nearby resorts. The place is thoughtfully designed, clean and comfortable for a group. Owners were very responsive and hospitable - with some good tips for things to do during our stay (free summer concerts at Jackson Gore, local hikes). We especially loved being able to bring our dog and would recommend this place to others.

Quiet New Years get away

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House with our 3 dogs. Tom and Patricia have a beautiful home that is right on the lake, and minutes away from skiing. The downstairs is beautifully updated, is very cozy and a great place to relax by the fire after hanging up your boots for the day.

We had a delightful time celebrating the New Year at the Lake House and look forward to coming back again.

Great ski weekend!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great MLK weekend! We were lucky to get a place so close to the mountain just a week prior to the long weekend. The owner's were easy to communicate with and fairly quick to respond to emails.

We had intended to go up alone, but invited another family just prior to our stay. We all fit very comfortably, although it would have been nice to have had another bathroom.

Overall, it was a great stay. And being able to bring our dog was a huge bonus!

Cozy Lake House

  • 4 of 5

My friends and I decided to do an impromptu drive up to Vermont to start off the ski season. We were fortunate enough to have come across this listing that's is not only available for the immediate weekend but is pet-friendly as well. It is not always easy to travel when you have a pet but these guys made it possible and hassle-free! Owner Patty was very responsive and informative. I contacted Thursday afternoon for a Friday night arrival.

We had a party of 5 with a dog and were able to sleep comfortably at the house. We love the fireplace as it kept the place warm. There is also a portable heater to keep upstairs warm as it does get cold at night. Place has 2 queen beds in one room, a King bed in another room, a queen pull out sofa, as well as a cot if needed.

Place is as it seems on photos. The only downside is that there is only one bathroom but the best part of it all was the fact that it's a short drive to okemo and killington. We were able to take our time in the mornings and not drive far to get back to the house at the end of the day. Shaws for your groceries, various restaurants, and pizza joints all within a few miles from the house.
