On the top floor there is a master suite inclusive of bedroom with super king size bed and day bed overlooking the village square, a contemporary shower/bathroom with under-floor heating and a dressing area with ample wardrobe space.
On the first floor the accommodation provides an open plan contemporary kitchen/dining area with a large table seating 8 looking onto the garden and the ski slopes above the village; a living room with open fireplace and views onto the village square; a second bedroom with 2 single beds (can be made as a double bed if required) and built in wardrobes; a contemporary shower room with under-floor heating.
This is one of the most charming historical chalets in Saanen, recently refurbished to high standard of quality and design. The decorative style of the property provides a warm comfortable atmosphere through contemporary use of traditional materials.
The top two floors provide a spacious apartment (100 sq m) that sleeps 4. The studio on the ground floor (20 sq.m) sleeps 2. Both apartments have independent entrance and access to a wood decked patio with an outdoor lounging area and a garden with mountain views.
The chalet has wireless internet access, TV, DVD facilities and heated ski cupboards. Towels and bed linen are provided.
The chalet is located in close proximity of the local grocery shops, tourist office, museum, church/concert hall and ski-rental shop. The train station is a 3 minute walk. From Saanen you can easily catch regular trains into Gstaad (3 minute journey) and Geneva airport via Montreux (3 hour journey).
It was definitely a WAOUH factor as soon as we opened the front door ! We immediately felt at home in the chalet, lots of little touches which made us feel so special !Rodolfo made us feel very welcome and was very helpful .Perfect location !
Saanen is an old Swiss village with traditional charm, just 4km away from Gstaad and its variety of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities. There is a regular train and bus service that connects Saanen to Gstaad.
The village offers those practising winter sports access to the surrounding ski areas, cross-country trails and winter hiking routes. The Eggli lift allows for access to the largest ski area of Gstaad Mountain Rides with 120 kilometres of pistes.
