About Susan Phillips
I was born in Oxford and have lived here most of my life. We're happy to give you advice and suggestions for making the most of your time in historic, hospitable Oxford!
Susan Phillips purchased this House in 2016
Why Susan Phillips chose Oxford
We chose to purchase this property because Susan was born in Oxford, grew up on North Lamar and loved the feeling of being at the center of everything Oxford. Nick of Thyme Cottage is steps away from North Lamar, The Square, the park and everything we love about being Oxonians - and still a walkable distance to campus!

This is a very comfortabble and charming property. Very tidy and neat and everthing the owner said is was. The furnishings are comfortable.
This rental offers sophisticated decor in a quiet neighborhood. Susan, the owner, was kind and accommodating.
Very clean and comfortable.
A very comfortable house. We used it a base to explore the state Mississippi. Oxford is a great place to stay because of the many great restaurants and shops. Even had deer in backyard one morning.
We made the trip for my daughter to spend time with her roommate for next year while I met up with some friends. We loved every aspect of our stay. The house is in a perfect location and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious for our morning coffee talks. It truly felt like home. Susan was great to work with and made our stay seamless. We plan to stay here as often as possible on our many future return trips to Oxford!
Wonderful wedding weekend in Oxford!
Our family stayed at the cottage to attend a wedding in Oxford. The cottage was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The bakery Christmas cookies were a special treat! We were very close to the beautiful Oxford square and campus where the wedding festivities took place. I would definitely book again if we have occasion to visit Oxford in the future.
While in Oxford, enjoy a variety of wonderful restaurants, art galleries, UM sporting events. Avent Park is almost next door, providing tennis courts, walking trails and a playground. Walk towards the Square for clothing boutiques, gift shops and antiquing being sure to visit Square Books. Tour Rowan Oak, home of our Nobel Prize winning author, William Faulkner. Gertrude Ford Theater has regular p theater, ballet, and music performances. or attend an Ole Miss sporting event. Live music most evenings at various venues on the Square. If you're in town on a Thursday night, don't miss the Thacker Mountain Radio Show at Off Square Books.
