Perfect. Everything that I had hoped for and expected based on the reviews and the place!
10 out of 10!
Charming little property in a stunning village
Isabelle and Jean Louis are fantasticically helpful and La Petite Sentence is a beautifully converted little property.
Noyers is a jewel of a village, with fantastic old architecture and some very good restaurants, bars and shops.
I definitely intend to return one day.
Isabelle kindly gave us her other house, La Renaissance, which is larger and equally charming
Newly renovated house with excellent new appliances, windows, shower, laundry room. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was well-equipped. Details from the old house such as exposed beams and wooden cabinet doors have been retained. The house is furnished with beautiful antiques and is delightful. (Please note that we stayed at La Renaissance, not Le Petit Sentence, but I am sure that it has the same style and charm.)
Isabelle could not have been kinder and more helpful. She left fresh flowers, a bottle of Chablis and various goodies for us and even bought some groceries because we were arriving on Sunday when the shops were closed.
The village is beautiful and is a great base for exploring the region. We had a wonderful stay.
Merci Gina pour votre message, cela fait plaisir.
portez vous bien
What a wonderful getaway!
Noyers is a magical little Medieval village--my family enjoyed walking the streets and visiting all of the nooks and crannies. It felt like a dream! It is a quiet, sleepy village, and not everything is open when you would like it to be--but that was also part of the charm; this is real France, where stores close on Mondays and restaurants book early! We arrived at La Petite Sentence to big hugs and kisses and enchentees from Isabelle and Jean Louis, who were wonderful and tolerant of mon terrible francais! Isabelle gave us a wonderful tour of the gite and offered dinner recommendations. The house is comfortable and has everything you need there. Isabelle had even included some fresh bread for us from the local boulangerie! My family fell in love with everything about this place--the donkey down the road whom we fed lettuce to every morning, the stone cave basement where we played games, the narrow streets and alleys which we walked early mornings and late nights, and Isabelle and Jean Louis who made us feel at home immediately.
Merci, mon amis!

Un grand merci à vous pour tout ses commentaires qui font chaud au cœur.
Nous avons été heureux de faire votre connaissance.
Jean-Louis et moi même nous nous permettons à nouveau de vous embrasser ainsi que toute la famille.
Excellent property in perfect location!
Our family (four adults) stayed at La Petite Sentence for three weeks during August 2015 and the property more than lived up to our expectations. We were very warmly welcomed on arrival by the owners Isabelle and Jean-Louis who were extremely helpful in providing us with all of the information we needed in terms of the property, the village of Noyers-sur-Serein and some useful hints as to potential places to visit in the area.
La Petite Sentence is a beautifully restored property with lots of personal touches created by the owners. We had a very comfortable stay and would have no hesitation in recommending La Petite Sentence to others and hopefully we shall return again someday.
