My wife is from Argentina so it is nice to have a holiday home in Spanish-speaking country. Also the superb Costa del Sol sunshine makes Marbella our ideal spot for holiday including in winter.

What makes this apartment unique

The exceptional level of care of the tropical gardens and swimming pools and the sensation that you are isolated from the rest in your own little paradise. Also going for a walk in the gardens at night (superb illumination layout) or a swim in one of the 3 pools and also the quality of finishing of the apartment with its secluded terrace is what made us fall in love with the place.

Another point is technological with WIFI fast broadband Internet in all rooms of apartment as well as Apple TV and access to Netflix & HBO with 1000s of free movies/TV series and TV sets in all rooms.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful Tropical garden

We spent one week in David and Monicas Apartment in El Campanario. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with tropical plants, ponds and 3 pools. Nice area for walks too. The pools are not heated, and it was pretty cold to swim in april. Would have been nice with at least 1 heated pool. David was very service minded and answered my questions immediately. The Apartment was not very fresh and modern, but the layout was great. Had everything we needed and more. The wifi was great both inside and on the terrace. There was minimal sun on the terrace. I guess that's fine in the summer, but could have been nice with some sun rays in the spring. Overall a lovely Place. We would love to come back.

Nice spacious apartment surrounded by the most beautiful surroundings. Set in a peaceful location, and yet closeby to Marbella, Benahavis and Estepona. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (within 10mins walk). Owner very helpful and always quick to answer any queries or offer assistance. Highly recommended.

Wir haben uns in der gepflegten Wohnung, die sehr gut ausgestattet ist, sehr wohl gefühlt.Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen absolut der Realität. Der Garten mit den Pools ist ein Traum, wo man Ruhe und Erholung finden konnte. Ein Auto ist zwar erforderlich, aber man erreicht in wenigen Fahrminuten sowohl Strände als auch abendliche Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, wie z. B. Puerto Banus oder sehr gute Lokale in Benahavis. Netflix funktionierte leider nur an 3 Tagen aber das hat der Urlaubsfreude keinen Abbruch getan, wir hatten eh besseres zu tun als fernzusehen!

Beautiful holiday

We really enjoyed spending time in apartment and we really appreciate swimming pool near the apartment ,also garden in our surround was beautiful. We are very thankful that David was so bifarious and made our holiday more comfortable. We had really nice and friendly neighbors so atmosphere was also excellent.

We reccomed this apartment to everyone who wants to spend holidays in a calm and beautiful area.

Luxury appartment. Location not so convenient.

The apartment is well equipped and has a wonderful terrace with a very nice view over the impressive gardens and swimming pools. The owner helped to make our stay as comfortable as possible. (Thank you David!) The only inconvenience was the location. A car is necessary to get to the beach and most of the restaurants, bars and shops are on the other side of the highway.

Owner's Response: Thanks Marian and glad that you enjoyed your stay and the terrace! Regarding the beach proximity (by the Marriott hotel), indeed it is approximately 1km so better by car I agree. Anyway I personally prefer the beaches of San Pedro/Puerto Banus which are a 5-minute drive away. However do remember that there is a bus service taking you along all the coast if you wish to explore more of the area. The little commercial centre where you have a few restaurants/cafes, a small supermarket and a few shops (Commercial Diana next to Diana Park Hotel) is 400-500 yards away (in Google map you can type El Campanario Estepona) so even though a car is nicer (I include myself), it is not an overwhelming distance to walk. By the way, the restaurant/bar in El Campanario is very nice (and rather good value) and they organise musical evenings, etc. So I agree with you, a car is better as you can really choose where to go and explore more of the area. Apartment is not advertised as a beachfront complex or in the middle of the pub/bar scene but as an oasis of tranquility, so I hope you could really unwind during your stay. Thanks again. David

Wir hatten eine echt geile Zeit dort. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig, modern und sauber. Die riesiege Terasse und echt super. Erstaunliche Pflanzenvielfalt im Garten und tolle Pools. Netflix war bei unseren 3 Kids auch eine willkommene Abwechslung.

Located in award-winning luxury development El Campanario

El Campanario award-winning development is situated between Marbella and Estepona only 5 minutes drive from Puerto Banus Marina and at the heart of the best golf courses in Costa del Sol (next to Atalaya golf course). Only 400 yards from the apartment is a shopping area (Comercial Diana) with several restaurants, bars, supermarket (Cayetano), vet and pet grooming, a bakery, a butcher's, a hairdresser salon and more. El Presidente beach is the nearest (less than a mile from apartment) across main road. It has restaurants and bars for al fresco eating with your feet in the sand with also the Marriott hotel facilities.

Personally we prefer the beaches in nearby San Pedro and Puerto Banus only a 5 minute drive from development. We usually go to the Mistral beach bar in Puerto Banus (Guadalmin exit) where there is a nice ambience. Take the exit at Repsol petrol station (after the San Pedro tunnel towards Marbella).

Also beautiful beaches in Estepona (10 minutes drive) or to the East of Marbella with Rosario beach where actor Antonio Banderas has a house or Cabopino beach with its dunes and fine sand (nudist beach on western side for those who would rather swim au naturel).

San Pedro has a brand new seafront with many restaurants and bars to enjoy (minutes drive from our apartment). Also a sea promenade from Guadalmina going along the beaches all the way to Puerto Banus Marina. A nice idea for a walk in the morning or at sunset.
