Why Billie Webb chose Lansing
My late wife and I built the first cabins in the New River Gorge area in 1993. We recognized the need for luxury accomodations in the area. We continued to build until about 2000 when we had 8. I now operate 3 after her passing 3 years ago. I sold the first 5 I built a couple years ago of which are being operated by the new owners.
What makes this Cabin unique
This unique property is only 1 1/2 miles from the New River Gorge Bridge and the New River Gorge National Park. Very conveniently located about 1/2 mile off the main highway, US Rt. 19. The largest outdoor outfitter is only 2 miles away with 4 restaurants. Many more nice dining options, shops and outdoor activities are 5 minutes south. Beautiful wooded setting yet close to everything you may want to do.

cabin in Lansing
We had a family of eight with two dogs. The cabin was perfect for us. The location was wonderful. We loved the privacy of the cabin. The dining table only had room for six people but it was not a problem for us. Hot tub was great. Loved our stay.
Great cabin in a wonderful location.
We had a great experience. The cabin was very nice. The family spent a lot of time in the hot tub at the end of each of two days participating in Adventures On The Gorge activities. It was very clean and well maintained. They were very helpful, rushing to get the cabin clean so we could move in before our AOTG activity. They communicated very well. The cabin is atop a steep driveway, but they work hard to keep the driveway in good shape. We had a wonderful time!
Although my Kia Soul could not make it up the hill to cabin #8, cabin #7 was beautiful. Very close to scenic drives, overlooks, trails, shopping and Adventures On The Gorge. The cabin had everything we needed to feel right at home!!
Cabin was great and everything as it seems on the listing. We loved the seclusion yet it was close to the river activities, hiking, and all the great restaurants in Fayetteville. Driveway is steep with a few big bumps so may be a challenge for low vehicles. Would return again in a heartbeat!
Great cabin. Everything was very clean and as in the pictures. The road to the place is gravel with a drainage ditch that causes loss of traction on a hill. AWD and higher clearance cars have no problems.
The cabin was wonderful. Clean, great hot tub, excellent mattresses and the sheets were clean and crisp. The caretaker Rick stopped and brought us clean bath mats, got us a new set of steps for the hot tub when we expressed a safety concern with the existing step stool, told us about a light switch that was broken and provided information about the area. Very private, but, the road to cabin is steep and gravel. I locked in my hubs cause my trucks light rear end wasn’t allowing me traction. I was surprised we could still hear traffic noises while outside but the wooded area still surrounded us. Close to so many recreational areas, shopping and dining. Can’t think of a negative.
We are near Hawks Nest and Babcock State Parks. New River Gorge National Park and the Gauley/Meadow river National Recreation Area's. Summersville Lake is 15 minutes north.
