We are steps from the central plaza, shopping, cafes, and the sights and sounds of the authentic South of France. The house is a petite townhouse that is perfect for a couple and can fit 4 people when needed. The kitchen and bath are fully fitted for your stay. The house is a wonderful home-base from which to explore Carcassonne, Toulouse, the Mediterranean beaches of Narbonne and Perpignan, the Pyrenees, and the many many vineyards of Languedoc-Rousilloun(now Occitanie). For those who enjoy being imbedded in a community, this is your house for the week or weekend. The house is of traditional style and the dimensions are petite. I am 5'10" and the house suits me perfectly.

About Mimmi Griffin
Hi! I am an American who has lost his heart and soul to Europe. My wife is Spanish and we have 2 properties in Spain. I love Limoux and am endeavoring to learn French(with little success ;). Being a sports and outdoor enthusiast, I love our area for the incredible connection to nature that exists all around us. It very much reminds me of the countryside where I grew up in the US albeit with a bit of an accent!!

I purchased this property because of its authentic and manageable nature. It has many original details that I love. I also very much enjoy the simple life of walking around the Ville and doing my daily shopping with the required stops for coffee, tea, or blanquette. I love how life is lived on the street in this area the way it has been for centuries.
What makes this Townhome unique
My favorite things to do in our Petite Maison, are cook and nap. The kitchen is compact yet has all the necessities for cooking any of the local recipes. After a hearty meal, and perhaps a glass or two of the local wine, there is nothing better than a stroll around town then a nice bit of relaxation(read: nap) in the lounge or the upstairs bedroom. Both areas have amazing afternoon light.

la maison est dans une rue calme, avec des allées à proximité pour se garer et une biocoop très sympathique pour faire les courses. Elle dispose de tout le confort et elle est décorée avec soin. Merci pour l'accueil.

Limoux is the center of the original sparkling wine producing region of France. In addition the village is a great base for visiting the Cathar castles as we are a short drive to La Cite as well as the rest of the remaining castle on the Cathar Castle Trail.
