Two Bedroom First Floor Apartment Sleeps 4/6 in 2 En-suite Bedrooms
Refurbished during 2013/14, this extremely spacious fully equipped first floor apartment sleeps 4 in 2 en-suite bedrooms, with the option (at an extra cost) of a further bedroom bringing capacity up to 6 people.
The accommodation is bright and exceptionally spacious with all bedrooms having modern en-suite shower facilities and smart TVs.
Two of the bedrooms have zip and link beds meaning they can be made up as either a super king size bed or twins. The optional third bedroom has a super king size bed and memory foam mattress.
Renewed in 2017 the kitchen/diner is well-equipped and the table and chairs make it convenient for enjoying breakfast in.
There is also a large lounge which has a dining table and chairs and is ideal for a more leisurely meal. Also in the lounge are 3 two seater settees, Freeview TV, DVD player and a selection of books and board games.
There is access through the lounge onto a charming and sunny patio area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
Free Wifi is available during your stay.
This apartment is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Peak District National Park.
Local amenities within a few minutes walk include a local mini-market (open 7am -10pm 7 days a week), grocer, bakery, butcher, chemist, fish and chip shop and several public houses which serve food.
PRICES QUOTED ARE FOR UP TO 4 PEOPLE IN 2 BEDROOMS. THE COST OF THE THIRD BEDROOM IS BETWEEN £130 AND £200 DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR. PLEASE ENQUIRE OF THE COST IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE THIRD BEDROOM.

After spending many holidays in the Peak District we finally made the plunge and moved to Tideswell from London in Autumn 2001, in the hope that we could live life at a more leisurely pace! Although we did not achieve the more leisurely pace of life, which was not really surprising since we bought a bed and breakfast, we have found that a 'change is certainly as good as a rest'. To date we continue to run the Bed and breakfast business and the attached self-catering apartment as well as a few other initiatives.

Clean, well presented holiday let. Spacious rooms.
We enjoyed our stay here in Tideswell which is well placed for reaching some good walks.
Excellent location close to pubs and restaurants. Clean and cosy. Massive bedrooms with en suite shower. Very well equipped for cooking etc. Stair gates and high chairs provided for little ones. Welcome tea bags, coffee and biscuits are a lovely touch. Not suitable for disabled unable to climb stairs as access to the apartment is up a flight of stairs.

6 of us staying 3 generations and we were all pleasantly surprised at our accommodation,good value for money,everything you need for a self catering break,great bathrooms in all 3 rooms,fully equipped kitchen with plenty of bits and pieces,nice little patio were we had a New Years eve barbie and Gill the kind owner let us use her garden to let off a few fireworks, Tideswell is lovely,Cathedral bells ringing for New Year and locals very nice,Horse and Jockey serve great food,we hope we can return at sometime in the future and Rockingham Lodge Apartments will be our first choice,for one more reason when Grandma and Grandad were in bed they couldnt hear any noise from the other rooms !
In a quiet location the spacious apartment has everything you need to enjoy home away from home. Getting to places of interest was very easy and the surrounding countryside stunning even in the damp.
Great place in an excellent location. Would definitely recommend it.
Approximately equal distance between Buxton and Bakewell and close to attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Castleton, the village of Tideswell is an ideal base for exploring the Peak District either on foot or by car.

£50 deposit payable within 7 days of booking will be required. The full balance must be received within 6 weeks prior to the start of your stay. If booking less than 6 weeks before your stay the full balance will be required immediately. A Booking form must be completed and signed then returned along with your deposit/payment.
