About Mark & Helen Meopham
Hi, We are Mark - a retired Police Officer and Helen- a retired Optometrist . We purchased Avon View in August 2012. Avon View will be first and foremost our family home. We purchased the house because of its stunning Riverside location. It will also allow us to keep our Narrowboat at the bottom of the Garden. We have been living aboard our Narrowboat whilst house hunting until we found Avon View. We have recently purchased brand new furnishings for the whole house and as it will be our home it is a high level of quality and comfort, more than you would expect from a normal rental property. We hope the pictures give you some idea of what a beautiful spot this is . When you rent Avon View we will be there to greet you and answer any questions you may have, then we jump aboard our Narrowboat and cruise down the river leaving you to enjoy your time at Avon View and we are just a phone call away if you need us. We look forward to being able to help plan your trip.

Lovely home and beautiful location
We enjoyed our stay at this property and it lived up to expectations. The house is right on the River Avon and there's something very relaxing and therapeutic about just staring at the river race by.
The house had more of homely feel than some holiday homes I've stayed in and was well equipped and very comfortable. The communication with the owners was very good and they were very friendly and helpful.
It's in a quiet location with excellent views, has good access to the main routes and is only a ten minute walk into the town centre.
Evesham isn't the prettiest town but still very pleasant nevertheless and is a good base for exploring the Northern parts of the Cotswolds.
I would highly recommend the property to fellow travellers!
Thank you for the review we are pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Excellent property great views
Excellent property great views
Lovely, comfortable house with amazing views!
Fantastic house and location. Perfect for riverside walks into Evesham. Mark and Helen were so helpful and accommodating and we wanted for nothing. Very well equipped house and spotlessly clean. We went in particular to fish but river conditions were such that it was challenging. Nevertheless, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for the nice comments would love to welcome you back anytime.
A wonderful stay
What a great place in a good location. Close to a lot of pubs and restaurants. Just watching the River Avon and the boats go by is very relaxing. It is close to a busy road but you do not hear it, good sound insulation. Nice off street parking for three or more cars. Although we did not get to meet Mark and Helen they were very quick to respond to emails or phone. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. The pubs and restaurants of Evesham thank you for your custom 😃
Great location on River Avon
The riverside house was a great base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding area. Evesham has a couple of nice grocery stores and many excellent restaurants/pubs. The house is located on a major road yet there was little noise. It is equipped with all the necessities to enjoy your stay, and the view along the River Avon is quite nice. Expect to see passing rowers, boats, swans and ducks. The back deck is great but could use more comfortable seating. Internet connection was fast and reliable. The owners were pleasant to work with and I would definitely stay in this house again.
The property is very comfortable and is well equipped . Ideal location for us and dog friendly.
Thank you your welcome to return.
