The apartment is about mid way between Malaga and Gibraltar thus offering 2 potential airport destinations. Moreover, it is ideally placed for the magnificent and ancient cities of Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Malaga. Estepona is an old Spanish working town whilst nearby Ronda has the oldest bull ring in Spain. There are literally dozens of golf courses along this stretch of coast suitable for players of all abilities and including Vallderama, La Reserva, Finca Cortesin as well as nearby El Paraiso which is a short walk away.

With an average of 350 days sunshine per year, the golf "high" season runs from October all the way through to March making this an ideal location for a winter break!

The apartment itself is just a few minutes inland from the main road between Marbella and Estepona and has ample parking outside. Transfers from the airport(s) can be arranged but these are about £75 each way so we recommend either car hire or hopping on the airport coach which takes you to Marbella and then a local bus stops about 300 metres away.

Once inside, you will find a central hall with double doors leading to the lounge and two more each to the kitchen and inner hall. This then gives access to the bedrooms and bathroom.

The apartment is well furnished, comfortable and equipped with all the usual "mod cons" you might find at home.

About Richard and Nicola Stanley

Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are a married couple Richard and Nicola who live and work in the West Midlands in the surveying and education sectors. We enjoy golf, in particular but our holiday is a great place to be based to take in the fantastic culture and history of the area.

There is a nice pool at the end of the garden as well as a small kiddies splash pool but a range of sandy beaches are within a short ride away, boasting some lovely beach bars (Chringuitos) where fresh sardines are grilled to order over open fires.

Why Richard and Nicola Stanley chose Estepona

For us, the main attraction was that the apartment is on the ground floor and close to the pool meaning we could supervise our son when he was little whilst enjoying a beer on the balcony! There was none of the usual marching off complete with cool bag, chairs, towels and sun shades. As he grew up, we found the garden a great place to have a kick about or game of badminton but, even now, he still dashes down the garden, jumping straight into the pool to cool off!

The apartment is light and airy with a sunny, south facing balcony which also benefits from being part shaded so having the best of both worlds! Once there, you do not need a car as it is just a short walk to a bus route as well as usual holiday facilities.

What makes this apartment unique

We are just 5 minutes walk from local bars and restaurants offering a whole host of cuisines including local Spanish restaurants, Chinese and Indian food as well as some fine Italian dining and the obligatory Irish bar. Local supermarkets also mean self catering is simple. There are even two local English butchers selling everything you would normally find at home, in England.

For more sophistication, a short bus ride will take you to Puerto Banus or Marbella where the rich and famous hang out and parade in their luxury cars!

Lovely quiet location, beautiful apartment with all amenities.

The location is a small two storey complex with a swimming pool and gardens. The apartment is a good size two bedroom property with large living area and separate sleeping area with two good size bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with dish washer, washing machine and large fridge freezer. A large terrace with table and chairs plus sun beds for round the pool/ garden with steps down to a private garden surrounded by hedges and a beautiful swimming pool beyond. It's very private and only accessible to the residents.A great place to relax which is far enough to not be distracted by night life but close enough to cafes, bars if required with Estepona a short bus ride/ drive away. We loved it.

Excellent spacious two bedroom ground floor apartment with a wonderful private & sunny garden.

One of the best holiday apartments I have ever rented. The apartment is in a lovely quiet area but only a few minutes walk from all the local shops & restaurants. The pool area, which the apartment overlooks, is superb with two pools one for adults and one especially suited to young children. Can't recommend this holiday rental highly enough. Fantastic.

Also known as the "Costa del Golf", there are plenty of fine courses all within an hour's drive. These include Valderamma, San Roque, Finca Cortesin, La Reserva, and many more.

The apartment is a short walk from an array of bars and restaurants as well as local shops including a pharmacy, banks (ATM's) and two well stocked golf shops. Supermarkets Mercadona and Super Sol are within walking distance but you will need a bus or car to get your supplies back from Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour or the fabulous El Corte Inglese in Puerto Banus. "PB" also boasts an extensive range of designer outlets including Versace, Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Michael Kors, Hermes and many more.

Leave the airport, and car hire offices will be on your left and the San Miguel Brewery is on the right.

Follow signs for A7 (N340) Cadiz & Algeciras. Stay on this road for about 40 minutes.

(“Peaje”=Toll road can save 10 minutes but costs around 7 Euros)

Once past Puerto Banus, you will go through the tunnel at San Pedro Alcantara so start to watch for more landmarks! Go past turn off for Benahavis.
 RHS you will see Centro Commercial Diana. SLOW DOWN.

LHS will be Senator Banus Spa apartments. Filter right, opposite these at (Km 167). Look out for a large sign “GOLFRIENDS”! Drive parallel with the main road for about 500 metres then turn right (just after pharmacy, Golfriends, bank and Besko supermarket).
Drive up the hill for 200 metres until you see the International School on RHS. Turn right, before the school and 52 SUN GARDENS is located in the 2nd block on the RHS with parking opposite.
