Lovely home and beautiful view! My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The amenities were great, the house was clean and well maintained. The kids had a great time playing the board games that were provided and my husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee every day on the back deck with a beautiful ocean view!
i would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful location to get away!
My family had a fantastic time enjoying the coast of Maine in this cottage. It is very well appointed and updated nicely. The kayaks were great to use and the pier/dock were awesome. Hannaford's was only 10 minutes away and Freeport a quick 20 minutes. But nothing could compare with the location of this cottage. The sunsets were amazing and we loved kayaking to Sister Island, Birch Island and the other side of the Maquoit Bay. At Sister Island ledges, we were treated to kayak with the seals. Very cool!
The house is perfect for 6 people and the gas fireplace was nice. The new TV was used to watch World Cup matches and Wimbledon. The owner, Sean, was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Mere Point is a nice community and we enjoyed the tennis courts several times. Since I married a Mainer, I have been to Maine many times (over 40 trips). This was definitely our most favorite house to stay in and we all had a great time.
Beautiful property with stunning views. Well equipped with great attention to detail by the owner.
Car essential to appreciate the area fully. Well situated for Portland, Freeport, Casco Peninsula, Camden.
This place is amazing. My whole family was there and we all just loved this place. There was so much attention to detail and hospitality. It was truly a magical spot for this family and perfect in every way.
Fall in Maine and staying in a very cozy home within steps of the ocean. It could only get better if the home was mine. The owner called the first night and wanted to make sure that everything was the way we expected. It was. We sat out on the dock during the day and on the deck in the evening with our glass of wine and watching the sunset. We went into the town of Brunswick and went to the farmers market one day and also walked the campus of Bowdoin College. Another day we took a 30 minute drive to Portland and enjoyed all the city had to offer. It was a great way to get away.
7 Miles (12 minutes) to Brunswick's downtown. 18 Minutes to Freeport. 35 Minutes to Portland.
