About Christine MacKenzie
Hi my name is Christine and I grew up in Red Deer Alberta and moved to Victoria in 1986 to graduate from U Vic with a degree in Human and Social Development, and several years later graduated with a certificate in Adult Education. I work for the BC government, Community Living BC in Human Resources training all our new staff. I determined to live in Victoria to raise my two now adult children in Victoria and currently live in Oak Bay. I have had the privilege of travelling to several amazing countries around the world, made friends, and plan to continuing travelling.
Christine MacKenzie purchased this Townhome in 2017
Why Christine MacKenzie chose Downtown
I choose this property because I have lived here for years and always wanted to be in the historic center. I love the downtown vibe of Victoria, it is full of life, artists, musicians, galleries, restaurants. I love talking with all the local shop keepers, especially the Italian baker right outside the gate as well as a fantastic coffee shop. The location bursts with charm, it makes me feel like the ultimate city living.
What makes this Townhome unique
I particularly love this property over others because it is funky, stunningly beautiful, has real brick and 17' ceilings, it charmed me the moment I saw it, all the 25 units sold within 24 hrs. the location is spectacular, and I love being there. I looked at other buildings but they were noisy at night and heard traffic, the way this complex is designed I cannot hear typical city noise, it is quiet, yet right where I want to be.

Everything about this place was perfect. From the location to the feel of home. Dealing with Christine and John was like staying with friends. Very comfortable and familiar even though it was our first time. ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent location and exactly as the photos look. Fascinating historical building with modern, tasteful furnishing. Thank you Christine and John and sorry not to have crossed paths.
Beautiful loft in a great location
This was a beautiful property in a very central location. Very secure neighborhood & easy to find. The property was very comfortable with all the amenities. The key for the door is a bit of a challenge, I would strongly recommend getting new keys or re-keying. Hard to get in& hard to lock it up. Everything else is great, could definitely stay here again!!
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll get new keys made.
We surely enjoyed the artistic appointments and all the amenities of this loft. It was a little rough for our age to manage the stairs for frequent evening visits to the bathroom. LOL The location and atmosphere were perfect. Christine was a great host and helpful. Beautiful spot to take in the best of Victoria!
Lovely loft in pleasant area. Convenient walking distance to harbor. Public transportation within a block. Lots of eateries close.
Thankyou im glad you enjoyed!
We loved it.
