Dog friendly Studio Beach Cottage In Downtown Moss Landing
A husband and wife team, wife is a chef, husband is an artist. We have 2 boys, ages 2 and 4 years old. We love to spend our time surfing, cooking and enjoying all Moss Landing has to offer!
Jamie purchased this Bungalow in 2016
Why Jamie chose Moss Landing
We bought this unique property last year because the location in unbeatable. Only a few steps to the gorgeous white sand beaches that stretch for miles, the house itself is a waterfront property, with most of our acreage extending into the actual ocean slough itself! The property is a marine sanctuary, and is overflowing with sea life, it's like living in a national geographic nature documentary with the sea otters playing in front of the house, the great blue herons, egrets roosting in our trees and hundreds of other rare birds living in the water in front of our home. The house dates back to 1910. We love the history of this very truly unique home
What makes this Bungalow unique
Moss Landing is a quaint, historic village with an east coast, fishing village feel that you just don't see anywhere. It's like being transported through time into the early 1900's with the westerns facades on all the art galleries and restaurants. There is so much to do with the Elkhorn Slough Safari and the whale watching boats departing daily from the harbor right across the street. There is kayaking the Elkhorn Slough with the sea otters, horseback riding on the beach, surfing, eating, shopping for produce at the marketplace. It's also home to 3 very famous, awesome restaurants, Phil's Fish Market, that is famous for it's cioppino and live weeknightly music of bluegrass and rock. Then we have the Whole Enchilada and the Haute Enchilada restaurants, 2 huge, beautiful restaurants with delicious food and cocktails. Our house is right next door! No need to uber from too many margaritas! Moss Landing is also home to a real thriving fishing community and scientist community with the Cal State University Moss landing Marine Laboratories and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute.

Cozy cottage in good location
Jamie did a terrific job of making a livable cottage that had all the comforts you need. She is excellent at communication and accessible for anything you need.
Good and unique experience
The owner did the best for this tinny but comfortable cottage. Bed, shower is comfortable.
We knew that this location would be cozy. It was. This said, the owners have done a wonderful job of creating a comfortable, tasteful and private retreat. The location is hard to beat. Thanks for a lovely visit.
Cozy and warm.
Moss Landing was the perfect place to unwind. We enjoyed kayaking and walks on the beach, as well as venturing to Monterey and Carmel. Though tiny, this little place had all the details to make one feel at home. The floor warming was wonderful, the little patio a place to sip wine and read. Many thanks to the hosts for providing this little get away.
