UPPER & LOWER DECKS! RECENTLY UPDATED
This place is perfect! We took a girls' trip here & this house has everything! It is right on the water & the waves crashed under the house at high tide. Portland was only 15 min. away & we ate at different restaurants every night. One day we boarded the train & spent the day touring Boston. Even our one rainy day we sat at the house, enjoying the bay, playing board games. The house is very clean & spacious. You will not be disappointed!
My husband and I rented this house for a week with our 9 year old. We were very pleased with the house and the amenities - it is very clean and bathrooms/kitchen appear to be new. The house had ample linens and kitchen supplies for our needs. If you enjoy watching TV, there are new flat screens in all rooms.
The house is 1.6 miles from the lighthouse at Ft. William Park and there is a off road path that you can take from the house to the park. We walked or rode our bikes there daily. There is a nice beach at that park as well (make sure you can carry out garbage as there are no cans at the park). The house is also not too far from downtown Portland and Old Port.
The views from the house are incredible, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Our 9 year old had fun climbing on the rocks near the house and looking for crabs.
We would recommend the house especially if you're looking for and enjoy being that close to the water.
We stayed the last week in July and loved it. Our party of 7 were ages 13 to 79. Everyone was comfortable and met very early each morning for coffee, sunrise and conversation. We played games together and continually marveled at the views. So happy we chose the Crockett House.
My family of 4 had an awesome stay! There was room to spare and the child-safe decks made it relaxing for everyone. You can't go wrong with this rental. It is clean, spacious, close to much and best of all, you get to sleep with the sound of rolling surf every night. Sunny days and sweet dreams!
Portland Headlight; Fort Williams; Two Lights State Park; 10 minutes to downtown Portland, a vibrant city filled with plenty of excellent restaurants, theaters, children's museum & the Old Port. L.L.
